This sauce is rated at 600,000 scoviell units which is 400,000 less than the Mad Dog platinum I regularly buy. The flavor is awesome as a stand alone snack on crackers and cheese. It's intense, but not insane. Adding to a sauce will not change the flavor but will give you intense heat you will absolutely love. If you think Tabasco sauce is hot, this may be too much for you. I snack on crackers with Habanero cheese with this sauce on it and it is absolutely wonderful! I also use the million scoviell units for adding to sauce's and varies foods so I love intense heat. Many hot sauces have horrible taste as manufacturers concentrate on heat rather than taste, but this one tastes wonderful. A slight hint of pepper but not over powering makes this a wonderful taste that won't over power what ever you add it too. It simply enhances the flavor bringing a heat that amplifies the flavor and sends your taste buds into a glory of heavenly proportions. This is one of the best hot sauces you can buy but please keep in mind, its hot hot hot, not for the mild hot lover. The seller is accurate in its description, and I highly recommend for anyone who loves very very hot food.

I love hot sauce, and this sauce is hot. Over the past few years I have increased by spice tolerance to a point that habanero peppers are no longer spicy to me, and most hot sauces I try no longer make me say "wow, that is a spicy hot sauce!" - This hot sauce does that... this is a very spicy hot sauce. The thing is, most spicy sauces these days taste terrible, the sauce is simply an edible savory after-thought intended to transport the heat to your mouth. Not so with this sauce, the flavor is great, and the burn is very real. Expect at least 30 minutes of saying to yourself, "wow, that was hot!" People unaccustomed to spicy food might think that this is liquid fire in a bottle - wouldn't offer this sauce to my grandma.

You are not going to use this as a stand alone hot sauce unless you like to be tortured. I have a pretty good tolerance for hot sauce but cannot eat this by itslef. For example, sometimes I will open a can of smoked oysers and cover them with hot sauce, but I am talking normal hot sauce. You do that with this and you will be hating life after one oyster.I normally mix a couple of drops in Salsa or maybe BBQ sauces. It is good and you will enjoy it but make sure to mix it with something. Buddy of my came over the hosue to watch football and have a few beers. He put a couple of drops on a Dorito and ate it. He was ok after about 15 minutes and three beers but he did not do it again.Like I said, great hot sauce and if used right will lasta long time. I have ordered this twice and will again.

This is as hot as you could ever want and with it being a liquid it's easy to add it to food unlike the plutonium which is hotter but it's a firm paste. The mad dog doesn't have a flavor so it wont change the taste of your food, it just adds heat. BE CAREFUL WITH HOW MUCH YOU ADD TO YOUR FOOD! It is extremely hot. Overall this is exactly what I wanted and I couldn't be more pleased.

I love heat! i grow ghost peppers, Trinidad scorpions, reapers, scotch bonnets, etc, and make hot sauces out of them, so I'm no rookie to spicy things. That being said, this stuff is HOT. If you plan to open and use it like i did, there is a reason it comes with the little spoon.At the end of the day though, the heat is great and nice to put in things, however the flavor doesn't make grade. I seems like it almost has a taste like someone put a lot of liquid smoke in it or something? its not that enjoyable. Since the heat is so nice though, I've taken to adding it to other sauces to bring the heat up on sauces i like the flavor of more.

I've been using this hot sauce for quite some time and this is my 2nd bottle. The first bottle was hidden somewhere in the fridge for the longest time. I tried it anyways and it lost it's heat, which prompted me to get a new bottle. This hot sauce is very flavorful with hints of hickory bbq sauce flavor before the heat kicks in and lingers for a while. 1 toothpick is more than enough as a taste test. I love to mix 1 glob into some ketchup and eat it with some fried chicken.

I love this hot sauce! I am 1/2 of the way through it. I'm a chili head and most sauces last me a day to three weeks. I have had this one for 10 months. This is HOT!! I only need a little bit. Mad Dog never lets me down. 357 I feel always downplays their Scoville's. The bottle I have is dark and I believe this is almost as hot as Mad Dog 22 Midnight Special. This is not the sauce to be playing around with. The Last Dab is not nearly as hot as this is. I finished that and two others in less than a month.

I bought it for my boyfriend because he loves hot sauces and he showed me mad dog 357 and I could just imagine his excitement about this product so I bought it for him to try and yes he sure does love this product its a must try.
