Pretty good for poultry farming
I’ve been using these little over a month now I would say it’s worth it however there’s much to consider. First thing: these need in soles, I’ll talk about that later! Looks great and seems to be made of quality material, YKK zipper. Waterproof as long as nothing drips in through the opening. Prior to these boots I was using Muck Boots Edgewater II half calf and regular generic rubber boots for my daily work of poultry farming, which requires a lot of walking. I prefer to wear shorts when it’s hot in these chicken houses. I’ve been tired of junk flying in the wide opening of these other boots and having to wear sweats or boot cuts to cover it. Or even having to tuck my pants into them which can get uncomfortable and still can get stuff inside. Another thing, I don’t own enough long socks cover the length of the boots and most of my socks will slide down just enough to where the rim of the boots start to rub my skin bare.I have wide feet and normally wear an 8.5 or 9 in sneakers. After reading the reviews of how they fit slightly larger to accommodate for socks or wading clothes, I opted for a size 8 knowing the most I would pack the boots are wool or two pair of socks. These fit the dimensions of my feet perfectly however like I mentioned earlier these boots need added insoles. The thin insoles, or lack there of, seems to be permanently bonded to the neoprene construction, which is then followed by the outsole. The first week of using without insoles my feet will fatigue, swell and fit extremely tight over my arch through the day. With my thin added insole from an old pair of sneakers, it made it initially snug but I can still wear wool sock inside comfortably but not two pair of regular socks. I since haven’t felt that pressure or soreness from when it didn’t have the insole.

Sizing
The boot looked good, but being so stiff, two sizes larger than what I normally wear wasn't enough. I just couldn't get them over my sock footed waders
