Torres - Black Truffle Potato Chips, 1.41oz (40g) (3-PACK)

I love these chips! I don’t often buy chips, but I tried these because I thought they would be something different to have with cocktails. I was not disappointed. They arrived in a fairly sturdy box, and each individual bag is also sturdy and pumped full of air, which is probably the reason the chips are not crushed in the shipping process. The chips are crisp and taste fresh. The truffle flavor is apparent but not overdone. These are chips you can savor. Serve along with other appetizers. They are great with cocktails. Truffles are one of those acquired tastes—definitely not for everyone. And they are not cheap, so of course the chips cost more than the standard potato chip. However, for those who enjoy truffles, these chips are exceptionally good, and based on several orders (I added them to my Subscribe and Save), I am impressed with their quality. I don’t feel they are overpriced, considering everything. They are an easy and unique addition to a cocktail tray, or for when you just want to watch a movie with a glass of wine and a snack.

I bought these chips as a supplement to a wine gift. I looked up gifts that go with wine and these came up. Because there are three packages I had to try one to be sure it was good. Oh, yeah, they are really good. I can find them in a few local stores, but they come in a bigger bag. I'm sure you know the thing about good chips and how hard it is to stop eating them. For me a smaller bag is better. There is enough to put in a small bowl to go with some olives, fruit & cheese for a few friends. My gang and I usally all contribute something to a spontaneous happy hour and these are perfect. Especially because I work and don't have time to run out for something perishable at the last minute.

I liked the potato chips but the 1.4 bag was too small and it was puffed with air and didn't contain enough for the price. Won't buy again.

Never had chips this delicious. Dangerously delicious!

Love the flavor of these chips, however, when you get to the bottom of the bag, it gets a little salty. Dont love the price as much.

My entire family loves these chips. If you love truffles like we do, then you will love them too. Good alongside a charcuterie board and with wine, which is how we had them the first time at a restaurant. Also good by themselves. Expensive so we only buy them as a special treat - our top stocking stuffer!

These potato chips are delicious: crisp and fesh with the perfect balance of truffle earthiness and salt, so I give them top marks for flavor. Where this product fails is with the value for the price. For more than $3 each, I was expecting three of the multi serving bags (like the ones you find in the store)--the price still would have been a little steep, but I'd habe been ok with that. I was surprised when I opened the box to find single serving bags. And while the chips were good, I can't recommend these because the price is WAY too high for what you get.
