this tool works great on those large watermelons,it slices them into easy eating pieces,blades are stainless steel and has a blade guard so you dont get cut,while putting it away.....great on all melons,but works best on large melons...

I ordered 4 of them for gifts. Every one had very dirty handles, which I had to clean hard to make presentable.for presents. One of the recipients told me it wouldn't cut pineapple, although it was advertised to do so. Too early to tell about the watermelon.

Not sure how long this will hold up - the plastic parts don't seem especially sturdy. It's made it through a summer's worth of watermelon though - about 20 - and so far so good. It really is a huge timesaver.

Does not cut as shown. A 265lb man cannot cut a watermelon. I lift weights.

doesn't slice all the way thru. stops about 1/2 " from bottom. I found that most people like the melon without the rind, so you still have to do a lot of trimming.

Pretty handy. It's also fun to make friends and family go ooh and ahh.I've had this thing a while now and just discovered it works great on pineapples too.

This is a amazing product....makes the watermelon look so pretty !! Everyone should get one of these...love it.

by the time you actually use this apparatus. You could be finished cutting the watermelon with a knife since you must cut the bottom and the top of the waternelon first anyway.
