Love this seasoning. Good quality and great taste

I stopped using the canned Manwich many years ago due to added sugar. Then, for the longest time I was using the McCormick sloppy joe packet mixes. But, at some point since the pandemic started, my local grocery store stopped stocking those McCormick packets. Just by chance, I happened to notice this brand in the organic food section. I bought one to try it out, and we loved it. After that, though, I was having a hard time finding these at the grocery store. In desperation I searched the internet and found these. I like them because they are low sugar, and not extremely spicy, as so many foods seem to be today. They do require the use of a small can of tomato paste, but that is fine - I only get annoyed when a recipe calls for part of a can - what am I supposed to do with the rest?

More expensive but this is a really great spice mix. Lovely rich flavor and healthier than the cheaper options. It's a staple in our house. Recommend.

Great taco seasoning, now my go-to for Taco Tuesdays and other brands just aren't the same. My only complaint is the amount of maltodextrin in it makes the carb count kind of high per serving (5 gm). If you, like me, are carb conscious then you have to watch such things. Great, spicy flavor with a hint of lime that I love. The kids find it a tad spicy, but they all seemed to have grown accustomed to it now. Better than anything you will find in most grocery stores.

The more I try these Simply Organic spices and blends, the more I like them. I'm gradually switching out almost all my herbs and spices to Simply Organic due to the quality, price, and taste. This taco seasoning is no different. It's better than any of the ones I get in the supermarket -- just more robust, a tad spicier but not overwhelming in that respect, and the price is comparable. AND it has NO MSG! I use it with ground beef, yes, but also with chicken and pork. I dice the raw chicken into 1/2" cubes and brown in a skillet, then just follow the recipe on the package for beef and voila! I have chicken tacos. I do the same with boneless pork loin chops -- dice, brown, then do the taco seasoning thing. I also use the seasoned meat as filling for enchiladas, quesadillas, and burritos. It's the flavor that matters, and the flavor this adds is excellent. I now have this on Subscribe and Save -- I use it that much. Great find! HIghly recommended!

Inadvertently ordered this-thought I had found Simply Organic Enchilada Seasoning packs. I loved the dry seasoning you added tomato sauce/paste. It tasted the most like Lawry’s Enchilada Sauce seasoning, but Organic. Maybe some people will like the replacement since it seem’s as if Simply Organic does not make the dry seasoning for enchiladas anymore. Simply Organic-bad decision.
