Chickens couldn’t get them to work. Waste of time and money
Chickens never could get them to work. It’s 100 degrees and they drink the cups bone dry. You have to keep playing with the yellow plunger. I’ve got plenty of head pressure.I saw a review that he removed the spring. Tried that and some of them kept over filling. Tried cutting the spring in half. Still leaks inside the cup. Going to try another brand. Don’t buy these.

2nd purchase, worth the money
I haven't had any issues with either set of these. Happy with the quality and price

Work but not perfect
Work well but not the standard nipple hole size and it's a metric diameter. All of them required sealant to stop drip leaking. They do not auto fill and the chicken must peck at it to get water. Took a bit of training but they got the hang of it.

These break far too often
These install rather easily, but our chickens break these far too easily. I can't say if it's from getting stepped on or pecked at, but the red bowls have almost all fallen off at some point. When this happens they are prone to leaking, breaking further, and dumping out water. The waterers we've purchased from our local feed store have been going strong for several years now in comparison so it's not a matter of the chickens being too rough on them. Awful purchase in my opinion and best avoided for something of better quality.

TERRIBLE
Not worth it at all. They leak, get clogged, crooked tab, or break in days or weeks. Good thing it’s a pack of 12 cause we’ve had to replace several of them in the weeks we’ve had them. Yet still, even when we replace them, every night we fill the bucket and every morning they are empty and tipping over because they leaked. Leaving my poor chickens thirsty if we are away that day. Very unhappy with product, get a trusted brand unless you want to throw them in the trash and have thirsty chickens.

Perfect replacements
Once again my wife ordered us a flock of chickens and feeding and watering them can be a pain in the butt if you don’t have the proper equipment. We use a five gallon bucket with these spouts encircling the outside. No learning curve, just set up a container and add these spouts, fill the bucket with water and put the lid back on. Then set the container up where the chickens have access and they will keep themselves hydrated!♥️These spouts are replacing ones that have been in use continuously since 2017, so they are durable, clean easy(just spray them with the hose), look great and the Red color attracts the chickens right to it!

Not sized correctly
I have several watering dispensers for our chickens and these do not really fit any of them; they are too small. I had to wrap the threads with lots of plumbers tape to get it to fit into the openings without leaking.

Can make work with proper tools
Easy to install, but theres lots of different options. Ill share what i did with 3/4" standard white pvc.I used a 11/32 drill bit to drill the holes.Next was a 1/8" npt tap to produce threads. The key here is i had to push relativley hard to get it started and DONT go deeper than couple threads cause the npt tap starts skinny then flares out. Then last step was to wrap the chicken waterers in some normal teflon tape and screw them in. They are very tight with no issues. Now if you dont have these tools it may be easier to just buy the feeders that are predrilled to pieces of pvc here on Amazon. Heres some pics.....
