AT-A-GLANCE Yearly Wall Calendar, January 2018 - December 2018, 24" x 36" (PM1228)

This is the first time we have used a yearly wall calendar (in the past we've always used an oversized At-A-Glance spiral-bound monthly one) and we love it. It is so convenient to be able to see the entire year at once, which makes for much easier planning! It also makes for easier filing, if you want to keep the calendar for reference at year-end. (Simply cut off the metal strips at top and bottom and fold it.) Yes, the paper is pretty thin and so you can't be rough with it. But, it hangs by a single small plastic loop, so it's very easy to take it down to write on, if you prefer. And, yes, the squares aren't very big but they're sufficient for us, since we use an online smartphone/computer calendar for all the details on events. I do suggest that you experiment with different erasers if you use pencil and need to erase something, as some erasers work better than others on it. (Oh, and we did put self-adhesive paper on the back of the calendar to make it sturdier, as one reviewer suggested, and that was a mistake. It make the calendar curl badly at the edges. So, we don't recommend that.) The one change I'd like to see is for them to make the numbers smaller, but we still will buy it again, even as is.

I love this calendar because I can put it up on my wall easily and have a complete overview of what my year looks like. I think for the sake of not having to strain your eyes and attempt to read tiny writing that you notate onto it directly, this calendar is best used for a "highlighting" purpose, wherein you box out the day with a color coded highlight color, so you can immediately see if your day holds a significant event.The design is ideal because it is both compact and efficient, the aesthetic is not cluttered, and the colors are muted so it won't clash with whatever your current room design is. This will be the third of this calendar I will be on (not sure if I bought them all from the same Amazon vendor), but in this particular case, I am extremely happy with my purchase.

We used to get HUGE ones. We like being able to write a ton of things on our calendars. The two month calendar is really great!! We used to put one sheet over our head to write the next months appts down. Plus, it still has all the months at the bottom. My only regret was I thought I was buying the older kind. I could have bought the 2016 in the two month as well.Really a great idea. Especially in a busy family. We like the wire top, so the next year we can transfer our very large families ages and birthdays, anniversaries. And their ages and not loose track of how long family and friends have been married. We put an alert in red a week ahead to send a card, then in blue or black ink, the actual event.These calendars are lifesavers.Thank you AT A GLANCE!!!We get the plain ones, but they have really attractive ones now as well!We've used these for four or more years, then built a house. Staples used to have them on the floor. We were bummed!!Glad Amazon had a great group of Vendors. Got here in two days, as we are Prime members. Things get here SO fast!!!Job well done

I love this calendar. I wanted something cheap as I am just going to toss it when the year is over. I see a lot of complaints about how lightweight and cheap it feels, but I purchased 2 and I am happy with how I am using both. One is tacked up on the wall of my office so I can see months into the future. The other is in my shop on the back of a door and it gets touched and brushed against. It is still nice and has not torn or in any other way become illegible. I whole-heartedly give this product five stars.

Thinner paper than I was expecting, especially given the price. However, I’m just using it to track my workouts and as motivation to keep my streak going. It works well for that. The boxes are large enough, you COULD write small notes on them.I’m not sure I would use it for much more than an X or a small note, it wouldn’t hold up well for a year of use.

One of the best decisions I've made this year was getting one of these. I slapped it on the wall by my bed and keep it updated, crossing off each day as it comes.With this, I feel far more organized and gained some valuable mental clarity in my cluttered life. Regular planners never worked well for me, but this finally does. The perspective of seeing the full year at once is like parting the Red Sea for someone like me who struggles with the passage of time and dog-paddles to stay afloat in it all. The whole year isn't so intimidating and nebulous anymore -- it's all just right there, fitting humbly within a single sheet I can look at whenever I'm feeling lost or introspective, like viewing the Earth from an airplane. Also, you can't be too lazy to check your calendar when it's literally in front of your face without even trying every day.Sure, the paper is thin as others have stated, but I don't know any better. It's weighted down and hasn't bled marker through to the wall, so I can't complain.Highly recommended if you tend to feel overwhelmed by the tsunami of time.

It's not just a large sheet of paper, there are metal bars at the top and bottom. The top one provides stability and reinforces the donut hole that you put a pin through to hold it up on the wall. The bottom bar weighs the bottom of the paper down to prevent it from rolling up or being blown around in a slight breeze. Both really nice touches that I appreciated. Especially at this price! The size of the calendar is just about perfect. Each day is a square about the size of a large postage stamp.
