It is worth the price.
This is a wonderful product. But, I have to say, that I was a bit of a dim whit. I could not figure out why it produced light but was not shining onto the ceiling. It turns out that the lid is removable and is not fixed onto the top. Just turn it upside down and it will fall off. After I took it off it outshone my expectations. It is beautiful. My grandchild enjoys watching the ceiling lights and listening to the bull frogs. Thank you for this exceptional product, it is well worth the price!

Awesome
OK... I almost didn't order this reading some reviews. One in particular stated that there are only four different settings. This is user error. The buttons on the unit only provide a few functions, you can access all the functions with the remote control. It isn't perfect, but it's not very expensive. People complained about the speaker. I mean, come on, it's a tiny little unit, not something meant for a dance party. Another review stated you could not turn off the blue tooth. Yes you can turn off the blue tooth, and it has a chime that lets you know when it is on. It's the design of bluetooth, it is discoverable. If you aren't connected, someone else can connect... Be smart... Again, user error.Another review talked about it being dangerous to eyesight?!?! It should not be directed anywhere at line of sight, if it is relocate it. Even then, was this reviewer staring into it? Bizarre.I got this to put in my 6 year olds bedroom when he falls asleep. I wondered if it would keep him awake especially because even at the lowest setting it is pretty bright... Nope! He falls right asleep. It is portable, and I we brought it into my bedroom for him to crawl in bed with me and enjoy. I have netting hanging above and around my bed. This was amazing, the stars which are green BTW showed on the mosquito netting and made it appear as if we were surrounded by them. Guess who now has the same netting around his bed?!?The sound feature is a bit strange in selection, yes there is a barking dog on one and a mooing cow on another. My son thinks it's hilarious. Am I putting it on for him to sleep? Of course not, there's plenty to choose from. Here's an idea, don't select those strange ones. Why do you even need to complain about it?Critical side/cons... The gradual on/off of the "stars" isn't exactly smooth. You can't select just the nebula. It is stars on or gradual on/off but no off. I do wonder if it is supposed to have a nebula only option and stars off and my remote or unit is missing that "prompt?"The timer function can be hard to access, it gives you a chime to let you know.If you are connected via bluetooth and attempt to turn off the projector, it will not turn off until you disconnect. The pros of this thing far far outweigh the cons considering the price. It is fun, my son loves it saying it is the best "night light" ever. I'm honestly considering one for my room. And yeah, I might look for a fancier one with more bells and whistles and maybe a realistic star and galaxy projection. And yeah, if I do will I be paying a lot more? Absolutely. I'll probably just get another one of these.Totally worth every penny. Don't listen to the bad reviews, they are mostly nonsense.

Versatile Room Projector With Only A Few Flaws
Over the years I've purchased a handful of room projectors like this, including ones from BlissLights and Galaxy Lamps, and out of them all this is easily my family's favorite. Our previous favorite was also a Rosetta projector, which had light patterns that looked like the surface of the ocean. This one projects light in swirling clouds and has an option for stars. Like in most cases the stars aren't very impressive unless you are quite a distance away from them, but thankfully they are easy to toggle off and on.The colors by default are bright and vibrant, but the app will let you customize them. But the way this device is built gives it some advantages over others like it. Most projectors like this are a single, solid object, and the fancy ones can move a bit. This one is an egg that sits inside a cradle and has a removable top. The top blocks the stars entirely, and dims the light but does not fully stop it. This lets you use it as a customizable night light. The fact that the egg sits inside the cradle allows for more directional control than any other projector I've seen so far, and the coverage is on par with the Galaxy Projector 2.The pre-programed sounds are similar to other versions, but fitting with the theme there are some unique ones such as whales and dinosaurs. As a bluetooth speaker it is fine - not good, but acceptable. My only real complaint is that there is no way to leave it running indefinitely. After four hours without interaction it will go to sleep. That removes some possibilities I had been hoping for, such as using it as a dim light in a basement with the option to remove the cover to 'fully' light the room up. The three pieces are sturdy, and both the egg and cover have survived the cats knocking it off of the dresser a few times. The remote is straight forward and I haven't seen any issues with the egg seeing the signal from the remote, no matter which side was facing me. It runs off of a USB-C connection,For me this is an easy recommendation. If you have children who might be interested, or if you travel and want something to make a hotel room feel less desolate you should give this a look. There are certainly cheaper options as well as options with more light settings, but as an overall package this unit is hard to beat. It is one of the first things I pack for any given trip. As one last suggestion you may want to check out the newest version, which for around thirty dollars more has the ability to emulate the northern lights.
