Worth it
After using this monitor for about a week I can definitively say that this is a phenomenal choise for people looking for a budget gaming monitor. Hertz: I ordered the monitor with 120 hz., as the ps5 only supports 60 hz or 120 hz, no in-between. This fully supports the 120 hz it was advertised to do, and I haven't had any problems with it so far. Colors: out of the box upon turning the monitor on, it was about average, maybe slightly above average, and it was nothing special. However, when I turned on the HDR setting in the monitor's settings, I was completely blown away at how good the colors were. It definitely has a 4000:1 contrast ratio and peeforma especially well while gaming. The blues were especially vibrant and the darks get very dark. Gaming performance: The advertised "1ms response time" seems to be correct, and there is a noticeable change from my old monitor which had a 12ms response time. That combines with the 4000:1 contrast ratio and 120 hz makes this very ideal for gaming, and can compete even with the higher end monitors for $500+. One downside is that this monitor does have some noticable ghosting, so I would recommend turning off motion blur (in the games settings) if you are planning on using this monitor for gaming. A couple people mentioned a dead pixel on their monitor. Personally, I did not have any dead pixels, but you may want to keep that in mind when purchasing a monitor for this price. It's also important to note that this monitor does NOT have an audio jack, so if you are gaming on console, you will need to have speakers or headphones with a USB chip instead. Overall, I would definitely recommend this monitor as a budget gaming or office monitor.

Great value, very capable monitor, and even better customer service!
First, I think this 32" 1440, 180hz monitor is a great value considering the price. I'm happy to report that I don't have any dead pixels, the colors are vibrant, and I'm a huge fan of the joystick toggle that makes getting into the screen settings super easy. There are 5 modes you can toggle through for quick settings, and for gaming I use the FPS setting, which is very vibrant and has high saturation. Watching 4K YouTube 60FPS videos is stunning and a feast for the eyes. When playing games, there is no ghosting and movement is fluid at 180HZ, running native 1440 resolution and with AMD Freesync enabled. All of that being said, the only drawback of this monitor (or at least the one I received) is serious clouding in the corners when the screen is displaying blacks or dark colors (see attached pics). I'm guessing that this is caused by pressure points on the corners that makes the screen curved. I've wrestled with returning it, and I'm trying to get used to it, but my eyes can't stop seeing it. I fear dead pixels far more than clouding, and monitor panels are a real lottery, so I think I'm going to count my blessings and hang on to it, but it's dissapointing none the less. Without the clouding, this monitor could compete with brand names that sell for a much higher price point. UPDATE 12/15/2025- I am BLOWN away! Last week I was contacted by Sansui customer service who wanted to apologize for the dissapointment and offered to send me options to make it right! It was agreed to try another monitor to fix the issue. True to their word, the new monitor arrived minutes ago, and has ZERO issues, no clouding, no dead pixles, and is absolutely flawless. What's even more impressive is that that they shipped the replacement from Amazon stock, so it wasn't sent a factory unit that was inspected first. Imagine that...they believed enough in their product that they were willing to send another one right from Amazon. I am beyond impressed that Sansui PROACTIVELY contacted a customer and worked hard to make it right. Well done Sansui!

Yes — a 32′′ WQHD (2560×1440) 180 Hz curved monitor, VA panel, 1 ms (OD/GTG) can be an excellent choice for video games, as long as you know what you value (immersion, contrast, fluidity) and accept possible compromises (angles of view, deep blacks vs. perfect colors). Here are some points. VA panels usually offer high contrast and deep blacks, which helps a lot in dark scenes, games with dark environments or cinematography - ideal if you like shooters, RPGs or immersive games. • A 1500R curvature (or more pronounced) helps the screen "wrap" your vision, increasing the feeling of immersion: it is especially useful on large screens (32′′) for games, movies or open worlds. • 180 Hz + 1 ms means that the movements will be fluid, the command input is precise and there will be less blur or "ghosting" - ideal for competitive or fast-action games. • If you also have support for HDR + good color coverage (sRGB or more), the overall image looks more vivid, with better tones, brightness and detail in games or compatible content.

Great quality, slight issue with the volume
I was really impressed by this tv and mostly the cost. Almost everything on this TV is great. The picture is very good quality, theres no dead pixels or grey shadow in the corners of the screen and runs pretty smoothly. Its pretty easy to use with the joystick on the back of the screen, just wish it came with a remote but thats what the buttons on the back are for. The only problem i would have w this tv is the sound is kind of low even at 100% volume, it kind of depends on what game your playing or what movie your watching. For example, im watching kick-ass, a sort of spin-off of heroes with a good amount of action including guns and id say it is rather quiet with the commentary of players/people besides gun shots/loud noises. Excellent tv for its price and all around, great quality and no bugs. Only issue is the sound of the tv buts its still not bad. 9/10. I would it recommend it as a starter monitor but can be used as a general monitor. (My camera doesnt give much justice and I cant upload a video sorry:()

My old monitor was dying after 13 years of strenuous usage, and I got this Sansui as a short-notice replacement even though I knew nothing about the manufacturer. So far the monitor is proving to be a good choice. I have to give this monitor five stars because the display is excellent and for once a plug and play device actually is plug and play. For me that counts. I especially like that there are both VGA and HDMI connection plugs. That makes this a monitor well-designed for the conversion worldwide of computer monitors from VGA (the connection standard of the past) to HDMI (the connection standard of the future). Knowing how the computer hardware business has been over the years they won't be making these transition monitors for long, so anyone needing a monitor to bridge this VGA to HDMI conversion needs to seriously consider this monitor sooner rather than later, especially since the price is right. That said I just got this monitor in the past month so I don't know what its lifespan might be. FWIW a good monitor should last several years. This monitor will be best for ordinary usage such as websurfing, email, and modest image/video work. While gamers need to look elsewhere, YouTubers will be OK with this one. This manufacturer also sell fancier models with speakers (for a higher price of course). But my computer is already well looked after with its existing audio deployment, so I saved a bit by getting the non-audio monitor. If you already have good computer sound capability save a few $$ and get the soundless monitor. It happens I'm quite particular about how a monitor displays anything, so I had to fiddle about for many hours with the Windows display properties and the NVIDIA control panel to get the visual presentation I wanted, but in the end the results were satisfactory. Anyone as fussy as I am better be prepared to spend a bit of time messing with all their computer's display adjustments. I skipped the factory adjustments in the manual, which doesn't explain them clearly in any event. Do remember that the bright crisp display of a new monitor does not have any impact on the age of the computer that runs the monitor. It's easy to be fooled by that one. If your ageing VGA computer is going to require an HDMI replacement, this monitor should be on your monitor shortlist as you transition from an old to a new machine.
