If you're gonna play...
...Ya gotta pay. And boy, is aviation oil expensive.I have a 50-year-old plane with an engine (Continental C90-16F) that has low hours but 20 years since its last overhaul. It starts right up. It produces full power. It runs smooth. But it uses about a quart of oil every 5 hours (I suspect a couple of the oil scraper rings are stuck). All of this means that I'm adding oil after every flight and changing it every 20 hours or so. So I use a lot of oil.This oil is good stuff and I gladly pay the price. The vendor ships is quickly as well so this is a win-win. Highly recommended.
