Nice kit for beginner welders like me, make sure you get an adustable angle magnetic clamp though
since I had the right magnetic clamp this was a true pleasure making, without that clamp I don't think it would have been possible, and it definitely wouldn't have been fun, you need the one that adjusts to any angle on the hinge. You really get a lot of practice with this kit, especially if you weld the inside everywhere you can then do the outside, on the inside I even welded on all surfaces that are flat just to get my beads down haha. Metal is thick and seems to be the highest quality, comes super clean and the pieces are exactly the same. zero bs. oh and after the apocalypse, you will have something to play dungeons and dragons with, because this puppy will still be usable after your house burns down. I think it might be good for lawn bowling too :)

It's a great project for the beginners I got one and used it for my son's urn.

Just FUN!
I bought these to practice TIG welding after taking a class, but realized that I needed a MIG welder (of course!), and I look forward to trying them with my new YesWelder MIG-2050DS. Seem to be nicely cut and finished.

I will say, the size they say is for each piece, not the object as a whole. So it was considerably larger than I had expected.

Fun
Super fun. Welder for 18 years. Haven't staino tagged in over a year n a half.Helped knock the rust off my golden arm.Pretty easy to put together, just tickity tac. Zero clamping neccessary.Gonna get another one just because it was a good time, figured I'd give it to my pops so he can show how good I am 😉.
