After ankle surgery needed to wear support socks to attempt swelling control. These were twice the compression of the 20. They are hard to get on and off, but THEY WORK. ONLY WISH they were available in a smaller size. The medium is too big for a female 7-7.5 shoe size. Sock is designed (good design) to provide maximum compression around ankles. Excess material in sock foot leaves the option of not utilizing the extra compression around ankles because the sock has to pulled up the leg higher to reduce bulky material or leaving excess material on foot portion can cause pain.

these are great! I got my size so it wasn't uncomfortable. my doc wanted me to use this under an ankle brace... I have not done so because they are compression socks so they are tight and putting them on does mean some pulling/stretching which I am not comfy with yet with my broken fibula/ankle (5 weeks in so pretty well healed ) since there is still some pain and I don't want to pull on the area while putting on the socks. but once I am a bit more healed I will definitely use. however if u are just using them without an injury and don't mind having to pull a bit when putting them on, you will be happy! just get the right size and you're good to go!

I had the hip replacement awhile ago, I need to wear the compression socks to prevent blood clots on my legs. I found these socks on Amazon for a decent price and near 5 star reviews. They are actually thin but very tight. I am 5ft and 108 lbs. it’s up to my knees. I am surprised how comfortable they are to wear all day. It helped my swelling legs. I have been wearing them a few weeks and washed them in the washer and dryer. They are still in good shape.

I have to wear compression socks for my health, and these are pretty solid. They feel good and they do the job.Pros: Do what they need to to and do it well.Cons: Mine usually end up with holes within a few months and I have to replace them. They're cheaper than pharmacy compression socks, so I can't complain too much.

I am very short (4’10) so these want to go past my knee, but are so tight that they cannot. I have to roll the cuff down to sit under my knee. I bought these because I have POTS and my doctor wanted me to start wearing 30-40 hg compression. Now I’m a very small woman, I wear an XS or a 2 in pants, and these are so incredibly tight around my calf that they go numb. The foot part is also extremely tight to the point where I can’t move my toes very easily. I think they’re very cute for the price but I guess I’m still figuring out my compression needs.

These socks are so much better than the cheap ones which are too slippery. I appreciate the additional compression at my ankles. This is my new sock company!!

I like the fact that they offer better support than some socks. They are solid black so you can wear them with all types of shoes,, under pants.
