Muy bonito el juego de mesa!
La calidad de impresión del juego y de las cartas es muy buena. Tiene un toque vintage de los años 80’s muy padre. Si eres fan de esta película definitivamente debes tener este juego.

Fun even for adults
I did not grow up watching E.T. but I had gone on the ride as a child at Universal Studios. I just watched the movie as an adult after playing the board game. I enjoyed the board game more than the movie. The game has several mechanics that I like including co-operation, pick-up-and-deliver, and action points.Co-operation: I prefer games where players work together. This is much easier in a setting with adults and younger members or teens. In a cooperative game, adults can play normally - they don't have to handicap themselves. Younger members can freely ask questions. There is less pressure on them to play independently and defeat the adult. Learning by trial-and-error (or learn by losing until the day you finally can best your uncle which will never happen in chess) works but sometimes guidance also helps and cooperative games are perfect for that. Because the game is co-operative, you can also play the game solo and control two characters. The game is colorful, the player pieces are nice and sturdy. I like that E.T. fits in the little bike basket. The cubes and dice are colorful and well made. The spaceship is unnecessarily cool but provides a nice 3-D reminder of where the mothership is.The art on the cards are all original for the game. They are professionally done. No printing errors and have thematic nods to the movie. The E.T. life counter is cute - the number is over where his heart is. I think if you are assuming that if the game has an intellectual property associated with it then it must be bad, then you need to try out games by this design team (see the end). This is the sort of game I wish I had growing up.Action points: Each turn, the player can take 3 basic actions (move, pick up candy or items) in addition to any free actions (drop items, move ET, pick-up/drop E.T., use a card).Pick-up-and-deliver: An important aspect of the game is that players need to deliver 4 matching color items to specific spots to "build" a device which is represented by a cube. Once "built" players can roll the cubes and if a phone is rolled, the ship moves closer to the forest, which is cute and thematic.Meanwhile, while players are attempting to get the space ship to come to the forest, they need to avoid the adults roaming the board. The police cards follow the dotted paths while the agents are drawn towards the kid with the matching color. If the kid or ET get caught, then E.T. loses health and the game is lost if E.T.'s health reaches 0. The game gets progressively harder as the police cars converge in the forest which is where E.T. needs to go to get picked up.While I do not think the game is difficult, I think this would be hard for a 10-year-old to read the rulebook and learn everything without someone older to help them learn the game. I think a teenager would be able to learn the game without adult help, but I would not be surprised if they missed a few rules. I did have some issues initially understanding the zones, especially because some zones look divided by dirt roads/paths/shortcuts. The rulebook is accurate but some of the images are small.I thought the game was enjoyable even if the movie was just O.K. for me. I enjoy games with mechanisms that are thematic - i.e. moving E.T. with candy and phoning home with the devices. I appreciate games with lovely art that serve the I.P. well. The game is more like a puzzle with luck and sometimes risks have to be taken. I also enjoyed playing the game while listening to the musical score with Amazon music.I highly recommend this game if you enjoy the movie. I also think this is a fun game for families to play and I think there can be a lot enjoyment of playing the game after watching the movie. This would make for a fun Friday movie night followed by playing the board game.I've included a video showing a mock set up of the game that may not be accurate, but I wanted to showcase the components and some of the artwork with a cricket background music.Other games I have enjoyed by the same design team in order of difficulty: Back to the Future: Back in Time, The Rocketeer: Fate of the Future, Pan-Am, Jurassic World: The Legacy of Isla Nublar
