Beautiful handmade basket
Stunning hand-made basket. It is delivered flat packed and you soak it in cold water excluding the leather wrapped handle . It only took a few minutes to shape it and it was actually fun to do. I decided not to do too much shaping of the handle as I wanted to retain the integrity of the hand made piece. The colors are beautiful and the quality is exceptional. This basket was a little pricey but worth every penny. It is a little larger than I thought it would be but it is within the measurements that were described on line. I simply cannot give enough praise on the beautiful workmanship of this stunning handmade piece of art. And supporting the African artisans who made it by hand is so important. Very happy with this purchase.

Sturdy Basket
Each basket has its own design pattern, it is easy to shape, wet it, shape it, let it dry and you have a beautiful & sturdy basket. The handle feels comfortable in the crook of my arm. I highly recommend this wonderful basket, I love mine.

It was not colorful at all
I liked the quality of the basket but very disappointed that the color was so dull. I expected it to be very bright and colorful like the photo on the website so when I received this dull, blah looking basket I was really shocked. My immediate thought was to return it but then if I do and get a replacement what color would be sent to me then? Maybe an even worse color. I wish they would have mentioned that you would not receive a basket that looks like the photo. I wouldn't have ordered. If I were to return it would I be guaranteed to receive one that is shown on the website?

Well made basket, but by no means colorful.
Well made sturdy basket! But it was not colorful like the picture the seller shows! I will keep the basket because the artisans do lovely work, but beware the seller not being exactly honest about the "colorful " basket you will be getting. To reshape the basket, just run it under cold water until wet, and then reshape it!
