The photos are after 8 days, and not a chip in sight! There’s a little separation at the bottom, where your nail grows, but you would get that from gel nails too. So, I am impressed. Vinylux dries fast too. You can do 2 coats and the top coat on one hand, wait 10 minutes, THEN DO THE OTHER HAND! No nicks or oops when you are trying to paint the other hand! Love that.TIPS TO MAKE ANY MANI LAST -1. Never paint nails when you are fresh from the shower or bath. Nails soak up water, making them expand, then they contract when dry. If you polish over damp nails, the polish will crack when the water evaporates and cause early chipping. Wait at least an hour after a shower. 2. Wipe your nails with nail prep or 90% isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol right before painting. That removes any oils, and dries the nail surface. 3. Add another coat of top coat a few days after the first one. 4. Use cuticle oil. After your nails dry, rub a drop over the cuticle and nail, yes, polish too, and at night before bed. I hope this is useful.

I do love this brand of gel polish, but probably as with any gel polish, after it’s on for more than a week and a half my nails start to chip/peel. Something in the polish makes my nails start to flake and weakens them. The polish is very strong and lasts though. Nice color selections. Not sure how to prevent that with gel polishes so I can wear it more. I tend to do a week on, week off to save my nails from getting too brittle.

First of all, I've been using CND SOLAR OIL for about 2 months and my nails never looked better! Once they began too grow I purchased CND nail polish in Nude Nickers and Field Fox. They look great but I wished Field Fox was a bit pink like it shows. I will definitely buy more.

I love Vinylux polish. I think it does last longer than other polishes when used with the accompanying top coat. I love this color. My sister and friends love Essie's Jazz, which looks really good on them but terrible (washed out) on me. For reference I have olive skin tone. This color is similar to Jazz, but it looks REALLY good on me. I think it has somewhat of a purple undertone to it, which is what makes it work better for me. I've received lots of compliments on it when I've worn it.

I used this product in Florida while on vacation. I loved it so much that I took a picture of the bottle and immediately went to Amazon to see if I could locate it. The color is so very neutral and calming. Grows out well without looking like you desperately need a manicure! I got a lot of compliments.

Love this shade!

This polish lasted almost 3 weeks with zero chipping. It was difficult to remove with regular polish. I had to get a stronger formula which removed it much easier. I ordered the color Naked Naivete which is beautiful muted pink/nude color great for all seasons but my personal favorite pedicure color year round.The applicator brush is almost fool proof to use very easy and does a great job fully covering each nail with one stroke. Two coatsand it looks like a professional job!

Lasts the advertised 7 days and longer, and the colour is beautiful!I discovered CND Vinylux in a salon and completely fell in love with this colour so I just had to have it for myself. It does need several coats in order to become completely opaque, but once you're there it is gorgeous and smooth. Chipping only occurred after day 7 even without a top coat, and I am really going hard on my nails - everyday typing, swimming in chlorine water 3-4x a week, and cleaning dishes with very hot water.Definitely worth buying for myself as opposed to having to run to the salon every week.

I like vinylux, and tend to use it to give my nails a rest between shellac.It's easy to apply, lasts well and dries quickly, but I have had problems with a darker shade looking a bit patchy, so this shade is great to avoid that problem- its a good neutral colour that isn't pink.I've read some reviews where people have said vinylux is hard to remove - I haven't had any problems, but do use an acetone based remover as I do for shellac. CND do their own, but ultra cheap superdrug own brand works well too.

Love this colour. A nice neutral classy look.Three coats was applied.( It isn't as pinky as it looks on the Amazon photo so I provided you with a realistic photo colour ).CND is the best I've found for at home self manicure. It lasts so well with a coat of weekly top coat over the top.

I bought this as I don’t get my nails done professionally now. I always opted for field fox shellac. This nail polish is not great you need about 5 coats. Doesn’t dry well. Don’t waste your money.

I have been a brand ambassador of Vinylux polish for around 10 years. Of course it can chip...but this also depends on the health of the nail bed.
