Works just fine and a good alternative to using batteries.

Length stretches across bathroom counter. Guessing 6’. Not ideal location for use but works due to temporary renovation in dining room where I was going to use device.

works, but a word of caution.. it must stay plugged up or it will loose all the data, at least for me. I think that any plug in will have this effect. Just like when you change batteries data is wiped out.
