Rust-OleumGreen Upcycled Furniture Paint in Chalky Finish - The Pinewoods 750ML (SHDRCT900)

This is the best chalk paint I have found. Great coverage, lovely colours and so easy to clean brushes or spills. There’s also no odour so the dog is happy too!

Used this for doing a tv cabinet in the picture- also done the inside of the cupboards.Was a dark wood stain originally, sanded the top to bare wood with a small black and deckker mouse sander bought in the prime day sale for 11 pounds.Then lightly sanded the rest of the piece, such as doors etc but not to bare wood, just to remove any little bits stuck to it over the years and make a nice surface to paint over - note most of the deep, dark wood stain was still present.So one coat using a chalk paint brush, which is a round tip, natural hair brush - again, from amazon - quite a big size but it gets into grooves and corners well so that's the only brush you need - note just, wet it once before you use it.So one even coat and the old wood stain was covered and this lovely sage was now there and half a tin still left over for future projects!Handles from TK maxx. Then a light bees wax over the whole thing, once thr chalknpaint had tried properly ( couple of hours).The wax acts as a barrier and makes it wipe able to an extent.All in I think this project cost me £35 for the paint, brush, sander, wax and handles. Just used an old candle to wax the wooden runners on the drawers.Doesn't look too bad for my first upcycling project.Very good quality paint - worth the money and comes in the best colours. Very happy, would recommend and will try other colours. Wouldn't use any other brand now after this.

Easy to use paint.Wanted to update an old solid pine desk for my sons room.Made sure wood was clean/dry before applying.Great not having to do the tedious job of sanding/priming.Went on easy with a paint brush.Drys evenly, used two coats to completely cover and still paint left over.Used wax after as stated to complete process.Lovely colour desk looks good.Only negative is paint easily marks, son uses top as desk for drawing andleft marks on paint through paper. (Hence 4 stars instead of 5)Would use again, overall a pleasing result.

Nice colour and easy to apply. Goes a long way too. 1 x 750ml tin did all my kitchen cupboards, though will probably need another coat.

I’m really in love with this colour. It’s exactly how I was expecting it to be on my desk. Paint is really thick and also easy to put on. Only thing was that I need two times to cover it properly but for me it wasn’t the problem. It dries also pretty quick and doesn’t smell bad.

Lovely colour, drys slightly lighter. Good coverage with one coat. Definitely recommend. Lots left over for further projects.

Covered my wooden chairs and ornate table bottom easilyThe colour is so lovely and though green in shade it is really neutralI am going to slightly distress all the pieces then clear Matt wax them for protectionWould highly recommend Rust Oleum paint and particularly this colour if your into neutrals

This paint is excellent value. With one can we did 2 full 6ft bookcases (2 coats, cheap PVC material), 2 cupboard doors (2 coats, wood), a frame, and one wall (1 coat was all that was needed!). It goes on nicely and has excellent pigment, for the bookcase we used grey primer first but for everything else we didn't bother because it didn't need it. We love the colour and the finish is very smooth with no brush strokes.

J'ai repeint une ancienne commode en bois verni, un léger ponçage et deux couches de peinture. Très beau rendu ! Et agréable à appliquer

J'ai pris un vert sauge. J'aime beaucoup la couleur. -1 pour l'état du bidon.

colori molto belli (ho preso anche l'antracite) e coprenza ottima, anche dalla prima mano.unico "difetto" è una densità esagerata e conseguente difficoltà a stendere (insistendo a "tirarla", inizia a fare trucioli e palline) che si ovvia facilmente inumidendo la punta del pennello in maiera opportuna.
