Taste the Tradition of Mexico! 🇲🇽
La Monarca Bakery's Cinnamon Cookies are a pack of three 6-ounce bags of authentic Mexican shortbread cookies, lightly dusted with cinnamon and sugar. Made with all-natural ingredients and no preservatives, these cookies are a beloved staple in Los Angeles, and a portion of proceeds supports monarch butterfly conservation.

A little pricey, but delicious.
I loved these little cookies! They are Vegan (but the other cookies of this brand are not, so please be aware!)Nice and sweet, soft and crumbly. My biggest complaint is not the product itself, but many of the cookies were broken/crumbled before I opened the bag. I still ate it, and the flavor stayed in tact, but not sure how that could be prevented in shipping. Just beware, you WILL get a lot of crumbly cookie parts at the bottom of your bag. Be willing to eat crumbles, and its totally worth it!

Mexican Made Cookies
This product was too high a price for an import; but, they were delicious. I'd prefer to purchase the same type of cookie made in America and hopefully sold by Amazon. Thank you.

So delicious but buy from a store
Favorite wedding cookies of late! So crumbly and lightly sweet. Bought the set to try the others, which are also delicious but I would pass on those next time. The set box of cookies was not encased in another box or cushioned in between packages. Disappointed to find the wedding cookies were broken up. Buy at the La Monarca bakery or at World Market store to ensure they're intact.

Crumbled cookies don't make a good impression.
The cookies tasted fine. However, I got nervous that they would not arrive on time, so I made my own from scratch. I was going to a wedding and was asked to bring that type of cookie. They arrived 1/2 hour before we were leaving for the wedding. Many of the cookies were not whole. They were crumbles! I did my best to surround my cookies with as many of the whole cookies as I could. Many at the wedding kept complimenting me on the ones in the middle (mine). I made them gluten free and sugar free. The flavor was fine and edible for what I bought. However, the price is quite high, considering many were not even in whole pieces. The light brown around the white ones in the picture are the Mexican wedding cookies that I bought.

Tasty
These cookies are delicious! I just wish there were more to a bag! You get three bags but not too many cookies! Although I will be reordering these!

Pricey @ $6 a bag but worth it occasionally for a change of pace.
The taste reminds me of deep fried pie crust they're sweet, flakey and quite tasty. I ate a couple and liked them, handed the bag to a friend to try and before I knew it he handed back an empty bag. I think ha liked them too. The longer you chew them the better they taste-- go great with coffee or espresso. Just to let you know they're about as hard as an Oreo. I had 1 bag (that my friend polished off) from a variety pack I'd bought and they were good enough to buy more.
