children's book
As an owl sat in the nearby tree, Annabelle & Aiden looked into the lake, what did they see?The wise owl gave them some valuable advice, so their learning adventure began.I did not receive any type of compensation for reading & reviewing this book. While I receive free books from publishers & authors, I am under no obligation to write a positive review, only an honest one.A very awesome book cover, great colored pictures & proper font & writing style. A very well written children’s rhyme educational adventure story book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational adventure movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini TV series. There is no doubt in my mind this is a very easy rating of 5 stars.Thank you for the free author; Imaginarium Press, LLC.; BookSends; Amazon Digital Services LLC.; bookTony Parsons MSW (Washburn)

Mom/Grandma Loved, Kids Unimpressed
I homeschool 2 kids ages 6 and 4. I'm always on the lookout for engaging books that are secular and educational. My mom read this aloud to my kids, and the kids weren't interested. The illustrations are beautiful though! Some of the facts did catch their interest, like how the tailbones we have today evolved from actual tails back when. Even so, my kids didn't enjoy this much overall.Grandma and I ended up finishing the book on our own. It brought us to tears it was so beautiful, but my heartless children had already left the room by that point.

Nice
This book is written nicely with lovely art inside. It’s written in a poetic way in that it rhymes and flows nicely. It makes it a better to read for a child, considering it’s length. I must say, I even learned from it! Very accurate. I purchased this for my 6 year old since my little one has been expressing interest in the subject. It’s a bit over their head. There is a lot of information and somewhat lengthy. It will be a good read in another year or two.

A wonderful addition to a fantastic line of books
I enjoyed this book more than I expected! I knew I was getting a nice story to lightly explain evolution to my child but the little tidbits of information on the pages were a wonderful addition! I read this out loud to my child and it has already sparked some interesting questions that I'm glad to explore with her at her level. I like that it doesn't go extremely in depth about the process because I know it would be too much for my child but it gives just enough of the story of life to spark her curiosity and she can grow with this book, being able to ask more and more questions as we read it again. My family enjoys all of the Annabelle & Aiden books so I'm very pleased to add this to our collection.

The answer isn't magic, but it sure is magical!
I am so absolutely in love with both Annabelle & Aiden books! They're inspiring and thought-provoking. They're simple while still giving credit to the young minds reading them. I love so much that the author kept the element of magic without using magic to explain the concepts they are teaching. These books should make their way onto every kid's bookshelf! Can't wait to see what adventures Annabelle and Aiden go on next!

Fabulous!
A fabulous introduction to evolution and what it means and how we are all connected through our ancient ancestors and the life that first stirred in primordial oceans. The illustrations are gorgeous and me and my kiddo loved looking up what each creature was. It turned into an entire science lesson!

Darwinian evolution through beautifully written lyrical verse and stunning illustrations
This book introduces young children to Darwinian evolution through beautifully written lyrical verse and stunning illustrations. Drawing on the natural curiosity of young children JR Becker tackles a big question, “Where did we come from?”, in a fun child-friendly way while maintaining the academic integrity needed in science education. This entertaining, educational, and visually captivating book has become a favorite in our home, my daughter now calls Annabelle and Aiden her best friends.

Beautiful book
The book itself is beautiful and really well written, I was a bit disappointed that the cover on our copy was bent and a little damaged, presumably in transport.

Breathtaking!!!!!!
So well written. Beautifully illustrated. The story is a simple way to explain a complicated concept. I have been looking for something like this for a long time. The imagery and the story are created in a way that any child would be enthralled. My daughter is fascinated by the pictures and is so curious because of the lesson. It opened up a curiosity in her that's a wonder to see.
