Annabelle & Aiden: The Story Of Life (An Evolution Story) Paperback – July 20, 2016

Wow, I’ve been looking for books on all the different world religions, and this series of books popped up in my search. I am in awe! The pictures are gorgeous, and the story sublime. I learned so many cool facts just in the first five pages. I’m looking forward to buying these books for my girls (ages 2.5 and 5.5) to read. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a book on the science of life!

A very well written children’s rhyme educational adventure story book. It was very easy for me to read/follow from start/finish & never a dull moment. There were no grammar/typo errors, nor any repetitive or out of line sequence sentences. Lots of exciting scenarios, with several twists/turns & a great set of unique characters to keep track of. This could also make another great children’s educational adventure movie, an animated cartoon, or better yet a mini TV series. I enjoyed this book more than I expected! I knew I was getting a nice story to lightly explain evolution to my child but the little tidbits of information on the pages were a wonderful addition! I read this out loud to my child and it has already sparked some interesting questions that I'm glad to explore with her at her level. I like that it doesn't go extremely in depth about the process because I know it would be too much for my child but it gives just enough of the story of life to spark her curiosity and she can grow with this book, being able to ask more and more questions as we read it again. My family enjoys all of the Annabelle & Aiden books so I'm very pleased to add this to our collection.

Let me start off by saying that this is a beautiful book! I absolutely love the illustrations.... so much so that I am going to purchase the physical copy (I ordered the kindle book). As for the story, I love how it boils down evolution into something that a child can understand while still remaining accurate. It's brilliant! I have already recommended this book to my other mom friends. This is a must buy for every child!I do most of my shopping online, and with Amazon in particular. In love with this series! Love the facts on the pages to give talking point throughout the book! Sad I only ordered 2 can't wait to give these to my son! I know he's going to love them!

I originally got this book for my son to read because of the characters (his name is Aiden) and he is now obsessed with all of the facts in the book! The illustrations are beautiful, and the rhymes read very easily to a 4 year old.

I homeschool 2 kids ages 6 and 4. I'm always on the lookout for engaging books that are secular and educational.My mom read this aloud to my kids, and the kids weren't interested. The illustrations are beautiful though! Some of the facts did catch their interest, like how the tailbones we have today evolved from actual tails back when. Even so, my kids didn't enjoy this much overall.Grandma and I ended up finishing the book on our own. It brought us to tears it was so beautiful, but my heartless children had already left the room by that point.

Excellent primer for Darwinism, written in such a way that children can easily understand. My goal is to teach my child to question things, and Annabelle and Aiden certainly help! I’ve found through this and similar books that he has begun to ask more “why” and “how” questions.Regarding the overall quality of the print, it does leave a bit of room for improvement. There are sections that are difficult to read due to printing, but I don’t feel that it significantly detracts from the content.
