So, firstly, I bought this fringe / bang to complete a fancy dress costume as Barbie. I found it very difficult to choose which blonde. I’ve attached a pic so you can see what the actual colour looks like and the bleach blonde is very bright. I had a clip in pony tail already and the two weren’t too far removed from each other in colour. (Ignore my dark roots which were overdue rehighlighting and which I largely hid with a sweatband!)Generally, it looks pretty good in terms of quality and appearance - better than expected and good value for the price.My own hair is very fine and thin on top so it would take a little effort to blend the fringe to my own hair but it’s doable. I didn’t need to put much effort in, thanks to the sweatband.Worth noting, it’s delicately packed in a hairnet etc and under solid card but the long strands at either side are folded in half to fit the package. This means when you first take them out, there’s a kink in the long strands half way down. The short section in the middle is obviously quite flat too.The instructions say you can style it with straighteners etc. as required and I expected to have to do that. However, as I received it almost a week before I needed to use it, I put the short fringe around a big round roller and left it on the corner of a table with the long strands hanging straight down in the air. After a week, when I picked it up to use it, the kink has fallen out of the long strands completely and there was a sufficient bend in the short fringe for what I needed. It saved me putting heat on them and, in general, would prolong its life if only needing minimal heat to style.The hardest thing with this product is matching to your own colour and in a lot of ways it’s pot luck. But the instructions say you can recolour them so if it’s close but not right, give that a try - even a 6-8 week temporary colour for trial. On that basis, buy early and give yourself time to play with it.

Doesn't fit

I love this, I ordered the whispy version and although they should be a lot more thinner they are excellent! I have dark brown/black hair so the off black blended in well. For me it does not look fake but I reckon it's because the colour match was spot on. Are these real human hair? Not sure TBF. And lastly it covers my thinning hairline at the front, I have a stubborn thin patches of hairline right at the front which I've battled with since I was 15 and this covers that up so well. It's soft, good value. For the price I recommend
