I drink this for the high protein in it ... and not particularly to lose weight.
If you get the high protein version of Slim Fast, then you will get 20g of protein in a bottle. It tastes really good and I use it along with a meal instead of any dessert. We can all use a little more protein. :)

Weight control
Taste is ok, not too bad. I like the "chocolate", but they do have vanilla too. Good quick breakfast for on the go but I drink 1 every morning. Has a lot of vitamins.

This stuff is great but…
This stuff is great and works for me for a meal or two a day. However the last shipment had an expiration date of November 2021 and it was thick with clumps in it. I should have thrown it out but I was able to put it into a glass and beat it until it was smooth. It tasted fine, smelled fine so I figured it was ok. But that was gross. I’m on the automatic subscription so I hope I won’t get anymore of those or I’m going to Target. However everyone is out of it.

Very effective. Must drink enough water.
Posting for 1 reason - To say “Drink enough water.”The SlimFast Advanced program is very effective. Pounds are shedding off in a healthy way, slowly but surely (1-2lbs a week without exercise). And the chocolate taste is satisfying my sweet tooth as well.The rave reviews are true.I am posting this review to include that you may HAVE to drink the daily recommended water for your weight class to prevent severe constipation.If you are disciplined enough to drink 96oz or more everyday (and adhere to the 2 shakes a day, 1 sensible delicious meal with sensible snacks), this program will be a complete success in losing and maintaining weight loss.

Love the Advanced Nutrition, fix the clumping problem.
Only problem I've had with this product is a gelatin like film that sometimes appears. I think it's what makes the thickness because one case I got was so overly thick, but no gelatin. That case was extremely delicious, just need to work out the stuff that doesn't dissolve and clumps. I do not like the original chocolate, way too much sugar and watered down.

Taste great and no hunger!
I am having oral surgery and will not be able to eat solid food for a week. These are fantastic they make you feel full and no chalky aftertaste!
