I recently purchased a new watch from Timex, but the watch came with a standard size wrist band. I have a 9" circumference wrist and most standard size bands fit about an 8" wrist.The band comes with some tools and extra pins for installing the band on the watch. It took me about 15-20 minutes to get the old band off and the new band on. I made one mistake, I actually put the band on backwards (not inside out), so I had to remove it and turn it around and re-install it. Technically I could probably have left it as it was, but the latching mechanism worked easier for me if I turned the band to my preferred position. I am very pleased with the fit, feel, and function of the watch and band!Now the one possible deficit with this band might be the appearance of the band on the watch itself. Most watches purchased with a metal watch band have a more "fitted" or "sleek" look to them now days. This watch band doesn't have that "sleek" look. I think it has more of a "retro" look, and I kind of like it! The watch itself is a remake of an old classic Timex watch, bare bones, Arabic numbers, no day/date or extra dials on its face.I've included a photo of the watch and band so you can see how the band fits the watch.

Sharp inner edge and extremely hard to remove links.

As per the title stay away from this garbage. If you do buy this item I heavily and strongly recommend you buy some strong pins that hold the watch to the band. The pins are absolute garbage. My watch fell off my arm when I was walking and broke. It was a $600 dollar watch. Again, stay away from this garbage.

I bought this for a watch I've had for 20 years, but it was on a strap, and I really prefer steel bracelets. I love the way it looks. The thin links in the middle are such a nice look, not clunky.I already had the equipment at home that I needed to put it on, and taking out the links and tapping back in the cotter pins wasn't an issue for me. It did come with everything one needs, though. I like the flip lock clasp and it has that extra flap that snaps down & gives it more security. I'm very pleased with how it came out, and it feels like I have a new watch for very little money!
