Best every day pocket knife for a fair price. The assisted opening is the best feature.

It has outlived what I expected. The edge still slices paper easily after several months of use. It has been exposed to water, dirt, somewhat-high acidity, and it will still take a chunk out of my finger if I'm not careful. The clip is used almost daily and just as tight as the day I bought it. The switch is also tight, almost like it still needs to be broken in. The only complaint is that the clip and trigger remained as stiff as the day I bought it! I saw the same knife at Dick's for $35. I don't know if this is a knock-off - probably is - but it's great freaking quality. If the real thing is any better it'll last a lifetime. I've used this almost every day for 5 months and it still slices a tomato without crushing it. Just requires moving back and forth a tad compared to brand new. Oh yeah, daily wear an tear only make it look cooler. I'm afraid to sharpen, though, cuz the blade will cease to be black. That is the only thing I haven't tested, is how it handles sharpening. So far, its sharper than any steak knife I ever used.

This is a very sharp knife. The assisted open was very tight at first but it broke in quickly to be a nice secure knife which a very snappy open. The blade came extremely sharp and although I do not use a knife as much as I used too has remained very sharp with light to moderate use. This thing is very solid, perhaps a bit bulky if you use the pocket clip attachment but it fits in the hand more securely then other knives of similar style and features I have owned.

I am quickly becoming a fan of Smith and Wesson. This knife is made of high-quality materials, including a steel blade and an aluminium handle with rubber grips. The back of the knife has a steel glass breaking stud. It opens smoothly and quickly, about as fast as any automatic knife you'll find. The safety lock on the side works well and the knife is really sharp right out of the box. Excellent quality for an excellent knife!
