ACDelco 19300596 GM Original Equipment Transfer Case Four Wheel Drive Actuator

I had a "4 wheel drive failure" show up on the dash after I washed my 2006 Hummer H3. I drove the Hummer shortly afterwards and the light for the "AWD" went off, and I was unable to switch to 4WD. After a short drive, the lights came on and error went away. About a week later it rained and the error came back.I had my local GM dealer diagnose the issue, and they said the 4WD transfer case actuator is faulty, and they could, of course, overnight the parts and charge me $700 for the repair. I asked for the part numbers, and they gave me the part number for this part and 19209788 for the seal.I was able to take this part and the seal to a local trusted shop, and I only paid $300 total versus $700!Side note: the GM dealer was trying to tell me that the actuator and the computer chip on the vehicle needed to be flashed. This was not the case, nothing needs to be flashed -- it was literally plug and play.
