A little background: My vet put my dog (12 year old, 15 lb dachshund mix) on bed rest because he's been having back issues (no walking -- carry him everywhere or put him in a crate). But my dog follows me everywhere. EVERYWHERE.In order to get virtually ANYTHING done, I was putting him in his kennel. Unfortunately, he also has anxiety issues, so even after a few minutes in his kennel, he would thrash violently when I'd take him out (which cannot be good for his back). I looked into getting him a sling so I could have some free hands and hopefully keep him from hurting his back any further.POSITIVES:-Holds all 15 lbs of him without ANY concerns-Long enough for his dachshund body-Has a leash/collar clip for an added sense of security-Thick, padded strap is very comfortable (and adjustable)-Lots of pockets -- Two pockets large enough for at least a 24 oz water bottle, a phone pocket, a pocket that can fit IDs/money, and there's a key clip-My dog seems perfectly content just hanging out in it -- he barked at way fewer dogs at the park, he doesn't wiggle or shake much, and (unless there's food right in front of him) he tends to continue to chill in or just on top of the bag when I put him down and loosen the mesh with the toggle.NEGATIVE:-Not sure if it came like this, but I noticed my first day using it that it seems like a seam in the mesh has ripped open. The mesh seems pretty delicate.This has seriously been a lifesaver. Very happy with my purchase.

Best sling on safety design I have found. It has a collar latch and mesh topping on bag to keep animal inside bag while still putting his head out to see everything. Fabric is thick and strong, extremely hard to rip. The mesh seems to help, so my dog does not get so hot here in Florida. He was not able to get out of it even when I put him on passenger seat in car. That is a plus for me, since he is small only 5lb and loves chasing things. No rings to adjust height, you can still adjust height but not painful when wearing. 2 nice sized pockets. I got a fury fido bag before due to the amount of great reviews. I did not like it fabric was ripping after first use, rings were painful and my dog easily got out of it- not safe . This one is 10x better.Update- 7/31/18- Bag is still is like new condition. Travelled internationally with this sling carrier and was complemented a handful of times and my dog just loves it!!

My 15 pound Westie is getting older, her little legs can't handle more than two or three miles anymore. Westies are stubborn little creatures, everything new is vehemently being fought against. On our first outing, we eventually compromised with half of her inside the bag and me supporting the other half that was hanging outside with an arm. Even in that position, the bag was surprisingly comfortable to wear, making carrying her around a lot easier than carrying her in my arms. The second time we tried it was raining hard, she was miserable and wet and grudgingly allowed me to stuff her into the bag (one leg out to show she was still boss). I was able to close the safety net around her but still needed my arm for support, both emotional and for stability. For a Westie, she is on the smaller side and while I certainly would not climb mountains with this bag, it will do very well for the intended purpose of letting her ride the last mile or two of our hikes. Her Westie brother who died a few years ago was a big, 25 pound fellow, he would not have fit.As for the bag itself, it is sturdy, the sling well padded. I am 5.9 and the length is perfect. Like others had noted before, the pocket snap is a problem, one was already broken when my bag arrived. I chose the blue color, the above mentioned rain during our second outing already washed part of the color away, leaving some red stripes. And yes, the thing is bulky but that is to be expected when you want a bag large enough for a 20 lbs dog with a nicely padded shoulder strap.

It’s excellent lengthwise for my 12 lb Chihuahua and Dachshund mix but sags in the middle which put strain on her spine. I believe additional support on the bottom and sides of the carrier would ensure that the pets weight is distributed evenly. Also the safety harness attachment is excellent but could be made longer. The waterproof canvas seems sturdy for multiple use but should only be used when the weather is cold due to it making your 4-legged one hot, especially since they are wearing a harness. Lastly, the pockets need to be deeper (maybe adding a 3rd one so that a smartphone, wallet, keys, pet water bottle etc.. could be secured & organized for easy retrieval. Even though it didn’t work for my little, I do like the bags concept and will save it for another pet or someone else’s in the future. You just never know 🐾

Written by the WIFE: The sling is very well constructed of durable material, and our Basset Hound puppy LOVES being in it. She will ultimately outgrow it, but until then, she loves being in the sling. It is very convenient in the car, just put the strap around the head rest. She travels with us everywhere, to the office and back every day, shopping and outings. It is very roomy, and she is very comfortable in it, and the padded strap is very comfortable for the human. She currently weighs about 11.5 pounds and will definitely be comfortable enough up to 20 pounds for me to carry around. The Retro Pug has extra pockets on both sides for storage which is nice, I put little bones, leash and my wallet in there. Inside is a locking harness type thing, in case you have an escape artist, which I do not, she is very content to be in the Retro Pug. I could not be happier, although, my husband thought I was ridiculous for wanting it. BEST INVESTMENT, great quality.

作りはしっかりしています。７.5キロのシーズーを入れても生地が伸びたり破れたりしそうにないです。１６１㎝の私が使用すると、腿のあたりに犬がきますの(犬の顔が腰辺り)で、もう少し上の方がいいのでアジャスターで調整をしましたが調整した部分がくしゃっとなるので、工夫を考え中です。底をしっかりさせたいときは、下敷きになるものを敷いたらいいと思います。ポケットが便利です。肩紐は幅が人くて、クッションが入っていて楽ですが、夏は肩の辺りにタオルを当てないと汗がくっつく感じです。買ってよかった商品です。

Love this pet carrier. It allows me to carry my puppy where ever I want to take him. It also has a few different pockets in it that allow me to bring CC, license, and keys so I do not have to carry my handbag. Puppy loves the view and attention as well. Title tells the rest.
