use these to extend my Grado SR-80s to use with my turntable preamp and guitar amp (10' length) .very little loss of sound quality, depth and detail (very slight subtle loss of mid and low vibrations, more noticeable with guitar/bass playback, almost negligible using turntable preamp compared to plugging in headphone cord without extension). the length is perfect, allows me to lay down on couch to listen to records or enough length to go from guitar amp to my ears using headphones, without getting too long with a 15 or 20' cable. Great price, solid build quality, and more cost effective than getting high end grado extension cables ($60-100).HOWEVER make sure you use 1/4" standard gold adapters or sound will be greatly diminished. Used some HOSA adapters (chrome tips with plastic grip handles) with this cable and really took away lots of sound quality and depth, almost returned this extension cable. Generic gold 1/4" adapters help to maintain sound quality. Test or buy new adapters to maintain sound quality when plugging into 1/4" sockets.

Great cable, solid construction. I've had this banging around on my desk, plugging and unplugging daily and the connection feels solid every time. It still requires a little effort has that satisfying click that tells you it won't give up any time soon.

Really nice cables at really prices. PigHog are my go to price-point cables and this extension is as quality as all their speaker cables that I own. I noticed a few reviews mentioning that the cable becomes inflexible with use. If you are running into this issue, please look up proper cable winding/coiling technique. This will alleviate this possibility. Good cables!!

Without taking it apart, this seems like a terrific stereo cable. Thick jacket, very tight connectors with decent molded strain relief, very flexible, zero noise from handling or electromagnetic interference. No noticeable effect on audio at all (as you would hope, it's only 10 feet long).

I use this with my IEMs and it had been holding up just fine since I bought it 3-4 months ago!

Got this so I can sit on the couch with my wired headphones. Solid cable, nice heavy gauge no noticeable sound drop with the extra 10feet of cable. Would buy more of theses if I ever need. (Tried the “basics” extension first, I would not buy that one again, too light gauge.)

El mejor cable con calidad y precio

Uso este cable a diario para conectar mis monitores in-ears a la mezcladora en mi trabajo, por lo que necesito un cable que NO falle. Siempre he confiado en la marca Pig Hog, pues tienen excelentes cables de instrumento y de micrófono, pero ésta extensión no cumplió con lo esperado. De primeras, el cable se siente de buena calidad, más grueso que una extensión de audífonos común. Compré dos, para tener uno de repuesto, pero el primero que empecé a usar, a los pocos meses metía ruido al mover el cable, y poco después dejó de escucharse el audio correctamente. Lo reemplacé por el cable de repuesto nuevo igual, pero le está pasando lo mismo. No lo recomiendo, y no lo volveré a comprar, es un poco decepcionante pues es MUY difícil conseguir este tipo de cables que sean de buena calidad y no se descompongan rápidamente!
