THIS IS THE COOLEST THING I HAVE EVER GIFTED MYSELF. The sheet music is easy to turn and stays because instead of being bound like a book, under the hardcover the pages are spiraled together. It is so cool to see her songs like Declare Independence transcribed for piano... Thank you, Bjork

This book is an approximation and does not represent actual transcribed music as per studio recordings
But this book does offer some insight into her lyrics and how they set about music, it is not a good transcription. I would call this a “guideline” of what a visual representation could be.

weird/annoying book but some good arrangements
Something about this compilation makes me laugh - it just seems so pretentious. Like oh, let me get my celeste out and play Mother Heroic! The song choices are odd (not because they're bad but because some of them are just not any fun to play on a solo instrument). And it was obviously designed to look "artistic" instead of functional - the notes are hard to read and the pages make an annoying squeaky sound when you turn them. Overall feels very try-hard.THAT SAID, there are some good arrangements here. Only a handful are really fun to play - Isobel, Pagan Poetry, Bachelorette and a few more. But they do give an interesting peek into Bjork's musical genius - she really is an innovator and uses some crazy chords and musical ideas that no one else in pop music would dare. And that's interesting to study! Just wish the presentation was better.

Poor poor book
No Björk notes or photographs. Exclusively if you’re gonna read music. Otherwise skip this poor book. Offers poor experience or practically non existent if you’re not a musician.

Endlich Musikmaterial von Björk!
Ein meiner Meinung nach sehr schön gestaltetes Notenbuch von Björk. Erfreulich, dass es eine Ringbuch ist, dadurch keine geknickten Einbände etc.Stücke für Orgel mit separater Bassstimme. Stücke für Klavier für Klavier 2-händig und separater Gesangsstimme.Es ist daher kein Solopiano Buch.Das Notenbild ist teilweise gewöhnungsbedürftig (teilweise helle Farben, besonderer Schriftsatz) aber spielbar.Beim Spielen merkt man erst einmal wieviel Musikalität in vielen der Stücke steckt!

Sometimes I Think, whatever Björk Starts, becomes a piece of Art. I Love her compositions, and I really appreciate that book, with the very interesting arrangements and that it is graphical well done. Tasteful is the best Word for it.

Un très bel objet...Pagan poetry,Aurora sont remarquablement bien écrit.J'attendais cela depuis des années.Je mets 4 étoiles et pas 5 pour la liste des morceaux proposés.Il manque cruellement certains titres alors qu'il y figure des chansons obsolètes pour le piano (et qui prennent beaucoup de page).
