I had horrible stain buildup on a bunch of my glasses and stainless steel water bottles. Also, everything that was coming out of the dishwasher felt like it had this grainy residue on it. I have chronic sinus problems and asthma, and can't tolerate chemicals and fragrances, and my husband gets fragrance-induced migraines. They are based on natural citric acid, and don't have a strong fragrance, just a nice clean smell. I started having a heavy lime scale problem with my dishwasher. A relative told me about Lemi Shine dishwashing crystals and that it is somewhat difficult to find. While searching on Amazon I came across the rinse agent and purchased it along with the crystals. I have gotten such great results from the crystals that I can not actually say if this rinse agent is better than those purchased in super markets but it does work very well. However, it is expensive. When I have finished the two bottles I intend to try a store bought brand again to see if there is any major difference for the price.

Best Stuff EVER for keeping my dishwasher clean. This rinse, the dishwasher cleaner, and the Lemi-Shine Booster powder saved my dishwasher - and my dishes! My dishwasher was completely gunked up with white water deposits, and now it's shiny and clean! My dishes had a white film on them, and were getting almost unusable, and now they're squeaky clean and shiny. I started with the Lemi-Shine Dishwasher Cleaner to get the dishwasher clean, and now maintain it by using Lemi-Shine Rinse, Cascade Platinum ActionPacs, and a small amount of Lemi-Shine Booster powder in each wash. These were all recommended to me by my trusted plumber/appliance repairman who has about 50 years experience.

I was getting really upset with the fishy wet dog smell my dishes had coming out of the dishwasher. I read online that it was probably because of my rinse aid. I bought this on impulse out of frustration after having tried a few other things. A while back I tried the Lemi Shine crystals and didn't like those but this liquid rinse aid is a winner over the Jet Dry I'd been using. I don't know if it's because I've been pre-rinsing my dishes more or if it's because of this but I want to believe that this is what's doing the trick. Either way, I'm going to keep using it and doing what I've been doing because the smell is gone!

I started using lemishine in my dishwasher after my son was having problems with his water in the city coating his dishes from the dishwasher with who knows what minerals and with one washing it was gone! We have hard water so this is a no brainier for me to use in mine also. Works much better than jet dry which did not work for him. I also buy the machine version and occasionally throw it in the diswasher and washing machine to hopefully make my machines last longer as hard water takes its tole on them. This price is more than if sold in stores but there are not many who carry this.
