S.T. Dupont recommends using the S.T. Dupont branded butane, it is cleaner and will result in a longer life for the lighter. However, it should be said that most lighter butanes will work fine. Is there room on the lighter to have it monogrammed by a jeweler?

There is room on either facing of the lighter. However, this lighter features a kind of "grid" finish. we are not sure it would work well. You might want to choose another S.T.
