Just right!
Fits perfect and provides the much needed cushion to make the scooter bearable. This is not to soft. Just a bit firm which is ideal for support as you scoot around.

Gift of freedom to travel comfortably!
I bought this knee walker after breaking my foot. With a boot I could walk, just not far nor fast in the beginning. Facing conventions on large properties, I needed a supplemental mode of travel in order keep up with the schedules. This was just a godsend. I used the basket often, mostly to hold my bag. The basket was great to keep things out of my hands like my cell phone. You need both hands on the handle bars. I have a couple dinks in my basket and bruises on my ribs to prove that. The extra weight of my bag in the basket at 7 pounds, threw off my balance helped propel me forward when going on rough surfaces such as rough stone tiles in walkways or buildings...also it is difficult moving efficiently on super thick carpet with texture, like you find in hotel lobbies and hallways. You just need to be aware of your own balance with the changing grades and textures. This is an observation, not a negative. Also, I was grateful for both handbrakes. I was told of one who accidentally rode her scooter, without brakes, into the podium of the conference she was running and then bought one with brakes. I also picked up the Vive memory foam seat. It made for some wonderfully comfortable sitting relief when parked. With a boot and broken bone, sometimes you just need to sit. With this scooter, you are traveling with your own portable comfy seat, something I hadn't considered before purchasing. It did shift a bit while riding while seated but not enough to be concerned with. I had to travel a lot and the airlines allowed me to travel the airports with a wheel chair, from gate to plane and check the scooter at he boarding gate with no charge.I have to say, all in all it has been a fabulous purchase. My only negatives are my own. Forgetting that my foot was injured and going too fast around curves or misjudging the grade of the surface...it would jump the bumps and I would need to catch myself as it threatened to throw me off when I wasn't careful. My bad. My only suggestion – be sure to give your new hero a name! You are going to love what she can do to make your difficulties easier!

Helps
I used my Drive knee walker for 3 days and realized immediately it was not comfortable enough for my prescription of 8 weeks.I sought an option and found this product. What I do like is it is 90% secure. It straps across the bottom and then it also has a drawstring that you tighten. With use it does loosen up and today for example I tightened it. With all my turns and my knee twisting on the seat I'd say it stays on pretty darn good.It is memory foam. I am probably one of the most unappreciative people when it comes to memory foam... I had hoped to find something in jail but could not. Anyway as far as I'm concerned memory foam is a misnomer. It's basically is like any phone that can be beaten down. And I think this is that kind of phone. I have now, as of this writing, used this for 7 days. My average time overall on the product I would say is probably 10 hours and I'm sure that's on the high side. I am not a small woman, I am just shy of 200 lb. Of course my weight impacts the foam. It does remain comfortable enough though I wish it was a little bit more Chris year once it's all smashed down.I hunch there is no way that it will be comfortable after another couple of weeks. I mean literally I have to use this for 6 more weeks and I know it won't last that longHowever since it's one of the only things I could find it is the best game in town so to speak.

Good, solid scooter
Before I say anything else, let me say that you will need to buy a cushion for this--the knee rest is HARD. (I got the ISSYAUTO cushion cover, and it worked great--easy to install and very soft.) Other than that, though, this is a great scooter for the price! It maneuvered well (not the tightest turning radius, but you're not going to get that without paying more) around my small house and on pavement. It's sturdy, too; never had any problems with stability at all. PS: The basket is nice, too; I decided it was worth a little extra to have one, and it paid for itself in helping me not drop things on my cats while trying to steer. So nice to be able to just chuck my phone, tablet, water bottle, etc., in it and move from dining table to couch easily. I mean, you really want use of both hands when steering one of these, especially in small, tight areas!

It makes a difference!
Using the knee scooter for an extended period is challenging without the pads. They help, and I recommend them!
