Wheel Front 27 x 1-1/4 Alloy Rim, Silver, 36H, Schrader

These are Weinmann Rm19 rim. Laced to a Wheelmaster hub with 14ga stainless steel spokes. They arrived well packed and promptly. As some reviewers have stated, cones were a little tight. So I removed the axle to lube them up (as I would always do) There was grease in there, but they missed the bearing races by a bit. After lube and adjust they spin darn true for out of the box. Light touch up on tension of a couple spokes. The valve stem hole is sharp (not an uncommon issue for new rims) but easily fixed. Half the weight of stock, and look very nice. A set of these (and a few lbs. other diet lol) can breathe new life into a ‘76 Schwinn for sure.

Bought the rim to replace the one I recently bent way out of shape. The rim showed up in absolutely amazing condition. Ran strait and true right out of the box - no tuning needed. Took it for a short ride immediately after I put it on and it ran wonderfully. Amazing value for the price, will probably buy the matching rear one from them just because I was so pleased.

The quality is spot on and delivery was quicker than expected. It was new, still wrapped and delivered in a well-packed box. I am way too picky and I took off one star for the clunky looking hub. However, the look is vintage and suits my bike well. The wheel is very light and a light wheel is very important. Well made and a real good value. I will report back when I've ridden it for a while.

Sweet 27" rim. Bought the pair for some Continental Gatorskins. The spokes appear to be stainless? Either way you can tell every company of these baby's are quality materials and made on quality equipment by people who know what they are doing. Each spoke "rang" at near the same pitch as the others, when plucked, and the rim ran as true as you can ask for, proving the rim is made true before it was mounted. This is not a way to adjust spokes, by the way, just a quick quality check for initial craftsmanship. I'm rarely impressed. I was this time.I put these sweeties on a diamond back with a Zeda 80 Firestorm 2 stroke bike motor with a better 36 tooth sprocket and mount than factory. I feel everything on the road @ 100 psi let me tell ya. I love love love it.

I didnt recieve the front wheel! I got the back wheel listed as the front wheel on line .

My 1983 Schwinn Le Tour broke the rear hub freeing spokes. I decided to purchase the front wheel as well. I found this wheel and was pleased at the quality and construction. I recommend you have on hand a Park Tool 13mm/15mm combo cone wrench and crescent wrench as the bearings were a touch tight. Once adjusted the bearings were smooth as silk. I have been riding for a few weeks now and no issues.

This wheel works and looks great. Didn't need to adjust the bearings, came nicely packed. I just needed to put a new tube and tire on and I was in business. It also came with a quick release lever, but I used the one I had that matched the rest of the parts on the bike.
