Minka-Aire F727-ORB Rudolph 52" Ceiling Fan & Wall Control in Oil Rubbed Bronze

The self-install of this went very smoothly. It replaced an old Hunter fan that died. The instructions were very clear and straightforward. Once hooked up and powered-on, it worked very well: quiet. I note that each of the 3 fan blades had the same weight in grams; my scale agreed with the sticker on each blade. Nice touch to match by wt. I'm impressed.

Really sharp looking fan. Fits proportional to our 12'x11' bedroom. Came perfectly balanced, even after painting the blades to match the accent color in our room. Completely noiseless on the lower speed settings; at the highest setting, the only thing heard is the strong air movement.The wall switch is a little weird that the highest setting is "1" and you have to move through that setting to get to the next lower speed. Just a bit counterintuitive. That being said, the switch functions well, as intended by the manufacturer.The blades are made of some sort of polymer and were easy to scuff up to paint. I used a flat paint intended for furniture and doors, then sprayed over with a clear satin lacquer (from a spray can, nothing fancy).The rest of the fan is made of metal, no cheap plastic to be found.I did end up cutting the down-rod by about 2" to get it a little closer to the ceiling. Worked out great, but I would not recommend doing it yourself unless you have a drill press or some way to jig it to ensure the new pin hole is centered.

This is a very high quality room fan for a great price. Highly recommended. This one replaced an original (real) Casablanka model I ran every day for 30+ yrs. The new fan produces the same airflow on slower speeds. The included speed controller is excellent. the fan is quiet and the build is quality. I plan on upgrading several more fand. Thanks. !

This is my 5th Minka-Aire fan and I specifically chose this because it works off of a switch and not a remote. My others use remotes and I didn't need that for this application. They look great, are energy efficient and easy to install.

Very nice 'transitional' style fan for a smallish space. We have it in the office in our basement--it adds a little visual interest and works well too in the rather low ceiling room. This is the fourth Minka fan along with 8 Minka light fixtures that we purchased for our remodel project. All the various tradesmen have commented positively on their style and workings and one told me he bought a couple of Minka fans for his own home after he checked out ours. Yes, there are more expensive and fancier fans on the market, but this one is low key, good looking, and works well in the smallish space.

We replaced an old, dated ceiling fan in our bedroom. This fan is a modern looking, very quiet, and we like the wall control as we have too many remotes already. It is also reversible which is a plus. The installation was straightforward, although starting some of the connection screws is always difficult when working on a ladder. Overall we are very pleased with this fan.

Installed two of these (in the nickel finish) - one in a living room and one in a bedroom. The bedroom needed the short down rod and the $5 one at Home Depot worked great. Very straightforward to install, especially if you are replacing an existing fan. They are very quiet and move a ton of air at the high setting - so much so that the flow of air is all you can hear. We also paired these with a Lutron 3-speed switch instead of the wall switch that came with it (the white didn’t match the almond of our wall plates). These look great and very minimal. A nice modern refresh to the rooms.

I wanted this fan for our Lanai in Florida. Really beautiful! My helper did have to call Customer Service because he couldn’t get it to work. C/S answered quickly and she was very knowledgeable. He had to open the cap where the light would go (we were not attaching the light) and connect something simple. You would think that would include that info in the instructions! C/S answered immediately which made it nice. LOVE IT!
