I’m not afraid of heights and I regularly do work on my roof using ladders but I don’t put a price on my safety. Having known people that have fallen off ladders or out of treestands, the cost is always terrible. That said, I truly think this product is worth its weight in gold. Though nothing bad has ever happened to me, the certainty of an additional connection point would have been insurance enough to justify the meager cost.This product is quality engineered and quite firmly constructed. I’m impressed by the weight of the clamp, the sureness of the connection points, and the width of the strapping. There’s nothing cheap about it, and I’m very pleased that I have it. My only criticism is that I didn’t know this existed years ago. I will use this product every single time I use a ladder.

As a larger person that works on ladders from time to time, safety is important. Having something like this is a welcome addition & gives peace of mind in worse case scenarios. Very easy to setup & use.

I've always had to tie my ladders off at work. A rope was what I used...but that was with the ladder up against pipes or conduit racks.Now that I have to work on this old house...there aren't many places to tie off at when leaning a ladder against the house or roof. This device solves that dilemma...as long as there's something to clamp onto. The jaws open to 2.75" wide...so there's plenty of possibilities.Great idea, great quality and build.

I thought that the clamp came in a set of two but it was only for one. I needed a set of two so I returned it since the cost was more that I was willing to pay for. I did not use it so I cannot provide any more information.

As a homeowner/small farmer with several out buildings, seems theres always a need to get on roofs for one thing or another. A while back I had an extended lader slip on me a bit so glad I found this device.Simple and quick to hook up and it really does keep the ladder stable. I'm no spring chicken and can't afford a fall from a ladder...so I strongly recommend to my fellow roof crawlers.
