Works well but un-needed for most of us, 12mm rods are the poor choice
This works as described, but if you have a good auto-focus system, it really is just an extra without need. If your trying to use it for zoom, it also works well, however I found it difficult to use the zoom meaningfully while controlling all the other variables, its far easier to just move your body.The fact that it has a 12mm rod is infuriating, since all rods are 15mm...

Great for racking focus
I don't have any other follow focus systems, but this is really nice, lots of adjustability through me Ronin rs 3, you can adjust the speed, hard stop points if you're using a lens that doesn't have any, and it auto calibrates for lenses that do.I just wish dji would have made wifi or Bluetooth controller for the Ronin series that would pair with the unit, it would open up a lot more possibilities.

Didn’t come with necessary materials to mount. Looking for a riser plate now to mount. Astonished you pay all this money for one not to be included!
