I've tried maybe three or four brands of Cardamom, the not Black version. They all tasted great, none of them leagues ahead of the other, just all wonderful.This is my first try with the Black, and its...a little different. Yet, it's all Cardamom. This has more... I want to say, it's earthy. But, not like how say, Sage, is earthy.I has a, presence to it, yet, it blends well with the regular suspects, recipe-wise.I might stick to just this for a while. Really get to understand how it's different and how to use that, better.As far as the product as product, it's excellent. I've become a big fan of Rani spices. I love they are a smaller family owned operation, who makes no apology spices. Genuine, and quality!

This is absolutely delicious! Had it on steamed chicken with rice and it gives a smoky flavor that makes you want to make sure you always have it in your kitchen. My new favorite spice! ❤️

When I opened the bag, the smell was fantastic. These cardamom are super fresh and the seeds are uniformIn size. If you have never used cardamom in this form before, please look it up on PINTEREST or Google the product before you use it to make sure you stay safe.This product does come with some do’s and dont’s!!!A+++ product highly recommend!!

There is a big difference between green cardamom and black cardamom This black cardamom gives a wonderful smokiness to soup/ chili etc. it really adds a depth of flavor to soups stews or chili.

It looks similar but it is not black cardamom. The taste is horrible. Cardamom has a nice aroma a has fresh taste. This item is not cardamom. It will burn your mouth.
