I am diabetic 2. This product makes generally diabetic safe bread if eaten in moderation. The bread I have made is tasty, too! Farina, sea salt, yeast and water are the only necessary ingredients. I use a Kitchen Aid with a dough hook, then cover with plastic wrap for at least 4 hours, bake at 350 degrees for one hour and the result is very good bread,

The product is good... the packaging is inferior. On opening the amazon box, it was found that the Sooji packet was broken and sooji was spread in the whole package and wasted a lot.

Yeah, this IS the taste of the original Naija semo of the '80s - be it as "pap" for breakfast or "swallow" for lunch. Love it!

Too fine a grind. Pudding-ey texture to it when cooked. Know some look for this consistency when preparing Upma, but not those of us who buy what they believe to be a coarse grind.It was satisfactorily coarse the previous time I bought this.Am not allowed to return it either - how about that? Not as described is supposed to be one of the reasons for dissatisfaction with an Amazon product. It is definitely not what is described in title. Would have given 2 stars but took another off because I can't return the darn thing.UPDATE:: Rani graciously refunded purchase to me. I'm going to assume wrong grind made it into package.
