Our dog loves it and we are able to control the protein for her kidneys. Although we don’t have a small dog, we use this finer ground food so it’s easier for her to digest.

These dehydrated vegetables add good nutrition to my dog’s homemade food and help bulk up her meals. My dog is extremely active and has issues with her stomach and digestive system. I believe this helps with that by providing fiber and nutrients. I highly recommend. It seems good enough for humans.

Dr. Harvey's Veg-To-Bowl Fine Ground Dehydrated Vegetable Pre-Mix has been a fantastic addition to my dog's diet. Great alternative to purchasing and preparing the vegetables in your pet's food! When my senior dog could no longer eat kibble, I found Dr. Harvey's on Amazon. I've purchased the veg-to-bowl, the miracle food (I've also purchased the Honest Kitchen mix - my dogs won't touch it). My dogs are picky and it drives me crazy. They WILL eat the Dr. Harvey's food... I think they prefer the Miracle Food over the Veg-to-bowl because of the oats, but they will eat both. I like the fact that all of the veggies are in there and they don't mind the smaller pieces (it's actually better since my picky Maltese likes to lick-throw his food all over the place when it's not something he's excited about). I went to the store, picked up a glass jar, put the scooper inside and made a copy of the feeding instructions (provided inside of the bag) put it inside of the jar to use as a label so I could always refer to it by looking at the outside of the jar (looks really nice inside the glass jar, too!). I found it easier to scoop from that than the bag. My dogs seemed pretty healthy with it. To be honest, I am currently using a local fresh dog food company where everything is slow cooked locally. I still have some Veg-to-bowl from when I purchased it (Out of the Miracle version), but you do get a really great value for your money with this thing. My dogs never got an upset stomach when I put them on this. Though convenient, it is still work to prepare daily. I would suggest making a larger batch (going by the instructions), freezing the majority and leaving a couple of days worth in the fridge. My dogs are small (5lb range), so I use zippered plastic snack bags to store smaller portions in the freezer and when it's time to feed them, I take out a frozen packet, microwave it for about 40 seconds on each side or you can warm it in some hot water for a few minutes.

We have been using your product for over 4 years now and love it for the ease and convenience it provides in making Tawny's homemade food. It works well for cooking up batches with this nutritious filling, adding “fresh” veggies into the mix without the fuss of chopping and cutting. A bag goes a very long way! Along with ground chicken and turkey and rice it provides meals that she loves. (We also add some frozen cut up green beans, they need lots of green vegetables). I also appreciate the eggshells you have added to the mix, it provides a much needed source of calcium. I am adding a picture of one of the bags of her food we made that just came out of the freezer. We press the contents flat and seal in a gallon ziplock bag, then folding it in half. They then stack easily and compactly in the freezer. I am so glad that I found this food. I have 3 dogs that are 45lbs., 50lbs., and 85lbs. One of them had some pretty bad allergy issues and she was on Apoquel along with other topical medications for itching, hot spots, and constant ear infections. Since we switched to Dr. Harvey's her allergies have disappeared and she no longer needs any of the meds. Also, my seven year old girl was losing weight because she wouldn't eat any brand or type of kibble that we tried even with toppers. She would sniff her bowl and walk away or pick around the kibble for the fresh food that we topped it with. Now with Dr. Harvey’s she is excited to eat every time. I am aware that it can be quite costly to feed this especially with multiple dogs, but not as bad as you might think. If you check the prices of other fresh dog foods you’ll find that this is the most reasonably priced way to feed your dog(s) fresh balanced meals. I can feed all three of my dogs for about half the cost of the next most reasonably priced fresh food that I could find.

A good product for your pets but a little costly

This is the second time I’ve purchased Dr. Harvey’s veggie mixes. I think I like this one the best because the pieces are tiny little balls and my 5 pound toy poodle can eat it very easily. The bag lasts a long time because I only give a bit less than a teaspoon per meal since I’m giving other veggies and meat. I would definitely purchase this again.

My girl, Rosie, loves the Veg-to-Bowl Fine Ground and licks her bowl clean. I mix it up with either gently cooked turkey or chicken, and Omega 3 oil, and she is a thriving and healthy 1 year old Cairn Terrier. I started her off with raw food, but she stopped eating it, so I changed her to Dr. Harvey's, which my 7-year-old Cairn Terrier has been eating for the past 4 years and is so healthy and her coat is beautiful. It is great to hear her Vet compliment me on the health and weight of my dogs.

My dogs are obsessed with it! Such clean and high quality food that every dog deserves. To be honest, it’s smells like a really good dehydrated soup, that I would want to eat myself! Lol
