Product arrived within hours and the packaging was undamaged. Just opened them up a few minutes ago to try one and ate three instead.I’ve been ordering umeboshi onigiri from a local ramen place and became obsessed. I wanted to make it at home. I ordered plum paste previously (from someplace else) and the taste was overwhelming, but THESE whole pickled plums are exactly what I was looking for! I’m so happy I found them!! They are sour/salty, but have a sweet undertone to them. They’re within a decent price point as well, so that’s another plus. Just be mindful of the tiny pits inside. Order them, you won’t be disappointed :)

I ate with my rice for breakfast.I can also make some plum sauce with soy sauce and sugar added.

I am very upset my item arrived damaged and I am unable to use it or return it. The seal is broken when arrived and plums juice is all over the container and is unsafe to use.

I've eaten umeboshi all my life. This brand had an off taste to me. Not a spoiled taste, just different than what I'm used to. Not for me.

Good tho. About 30 nickel sized plums, sooooo 30 cents per!! Made in Jpn, that's always good w/ Jpn food stuffs. $ vs my local (SF Bay Area) Jpn mkt prices.

Delicious but pricey, but I was surprised that it was still cheaper than the exact same thing in my local Asian store. I can't remember when I didn't have ume in my house. Rice is not the same without ume.

as a kid, I remember plum, being added to my rice balls. I was immediately brought back to the days, when my mom, packed them for breach picnics. This product does not disappoint.
