Indestructible
I love the fact that my 3 year old nephew can play as rough and tough with these. They are very well made. With others I’ve bought in the past, he would play one round with them then come crying to me with bits and pieces in his little hands and I would do my best to super glue them together the best I could only to have them break apart. With these I’ve had no more broken parts which saves me from a broken heart seeing him cry over them breaking. Great purchase! And the price wasn’t too bad either!

Detailed toy
I had hoped these would be of a scale that they could work with our toddler's small Tonka truck. They weren't, but he really liked them, so we kept them anyway. They are very detailed and seem sturdy. We use them to play in the sand or, when the weather is bad, in a pan of dried beans. The excavator scoop is really too small to use for scooping into the dump truck in the set, which was our only real disappointment. But I guess he's just getting to practice playing pretend. The dump truck hydraulics are/were a little stiff, which was initially a challenge for his hands, but he's learned to use both hands to lift the bed of the truck while holding the cab. He was younger than the advised age range when we let him start playing with these--closer to 18 months. These were a big hit with grandpa, too!

Perfect for travel
My son loves these and can carry them when we’re out and about. They are a little smaller than expected but still a great toy. Did lose a pin on the loader after a couple days unfortunately. They do move well

Updated review- constructed well son loves them
I must admit I thought these would be bigger. After playing with the backhoe for less than ten minutes, the tread on one side had already come off the tracks. Now, it just keeps coming off over and over. We will probably end up taking it off and leaving it off because it’s pointless to keep putting it back on. I’m also not sure how long the dump truck is going to hold up. The pivot point between the cab and bucket does not seem very robust but only time will tell. For almost $30 I wouldn’t buy these a second time. There is a little man inside the loader which is pretty coolUpdate: my son had now had these for a few months and I must drastically change my review rating. He absolutely loves playing with them and he is rough on toys but they have held up wonderfully. Although $30 does seem a bit expensive, I now truly think they were worth it!

Grandchildren, love them
These are smaller, matchbox size my grandchildren, love them very terrible. Wish they had them when I was younger.

Not what I expected...
As far as the quality of the little vehicles themselves, it's great that they are metal and have proved durable with our little boys. However, the tires on the dump truck come off super easy and the track-hoes rubber tracks come off at the slightest push of the vehicle. So I had to keep putting them back on....then had to just tell a white lie and tell him that the tracks broke and I had to throw them away. If there would have been a way to keep them on and the tracks still be functional, I would have kept them on it. Our oldest definitely wants his trucks and tractors and heavy equipment toys to be functional and able to be used like a real truck. I thought that's what he would get from these, but the tires and tracks situation seems to have proven a loss for us. He has also since removed AND lost all the tires from the dump truck. I'm not sure why they are even removable to begin with. I don't recommend these toys to anyone who's children may still want to chew on things or put things in their mouth.

Grandson loves
He loves them so much he takes them everywhere. All metal. He lost the excavator and we bought him another set because they’re great and he is obsessed. Highly recommend and wish they made more types. Love to see rescue vehicles or something

Tiny but impressive quality
Perfect for your little construction worker. They are less than twice the size of Matchbox/ Hot Wheels vehicles. They are very detailed with great craftsmanship. When various joints flex, the tiny pistons adjust. I've included a picture of them in a kinetic sand Monster jam arena where they fit perfectly.I recommend this for kids old enough not to swallow little pieces (not that any parts have come off yet). If my kid loses these, I will buy them again.
