I bought these because they had a spring, unlike a different pair that I bought a while back. They worked well until today, when I tried to snip of a high E guitar string (.010). I now have a dent in the cutting edges of the cutters.UPDATE: Boosden contacted me and clarified that these were not meant for cutting guitar strings, but softer materials like plastic. They DID offer me compensation. I appreciate them reaching out. I updated my rating to 4 stars.

Might be a little soon to review but so far I'm impressed with these. The quality seems great, they cut flush and clean and the edges are hard enough to cut through thick gauge copper without issue.

I liked mine better after I threw away the damn hold open spring.
