Marathon 24-2-4 All Season Lawn Fertilizer – 18 lb Bag for Grass, Gardens, and Outdoor Landscapes

So let me first say that I’m in Southwest Georgia. Yes, I know this fertilizer was designed for Marathon grass in So Cal. I have Bermuda and a little Zoyzia. It is always warm very mild winters here. So I was looking for a good nitrogen enriched fertilizer. I came across this and did my research. The N-P-K ratio does work out and can be used. You must follow the directions! Can’t stress this enough. I followed the instructions and watered for 20 min after I put it down. And hoped I just didn’t burn my yard. It has been a little over a month and my yard is super green and growing. I have to cut it every 5 days. I enjoy the fruits of my labor. Seriously I like to cut my grass. Water bill is going to be a little bit more as I water it 3 times a week at 20 min for each zone. But the results are well worth it.

If you want to keep the Best Green looking Lawn on the Block, this is the product for Marathon Grass. I get soo many compliments on how healthy & pretty it looks some think it is astro turf.

Works pretty well for small areas requiring growth. By following the directions closely I saw new growth in two weeks. Two weeks is a little longer than advertised by a few days, but no complaints.

The patches where the product was used died. Fortunately it wasn’t used over the entire lawn. Perhaps excessive watering is needed?
