Great for travel
### Review: UPPAbaby Remi Playard/BassinetI recently got the UPPAbaby Remi Playard/Bassinet, and it has been a fantastic addition to our baby gear. Here's why I love it:#### Key Features- **Design and Quality:** The sleek, modern look fits perfectly in our home. The materials are durable and soft, so I feel confident it's comfortable and will last.- **Ease of Use:** Setting it up and folding it down is super easy. I can do it in minutes, which is great when we’re in a hurry. The bassinet insert is also simple to attach and remove.- **Portability:** It’s incredibly lightweight and comes with a travel bag. This has made it our go-to for family trips. It fits easily in our car trunk and even in overhead compartments on planes.- **Versatility:** The playard grows with our baby. It started as a bassinet for our newborn and now serves as a play area for our growing infant. This versatility is fantastic, and it saves us from buying multiple products.- **Safety:** The breathable mesh sides give me peace of mind, knowing our baby gets plenty of airflow. The sturdy frame ensures he’s safe whether he’s playing or sleeping.#### ConclusionThe UPPAbaby Remi has made life so much easier for us, both at home and on the go. It’s easy to use, high-quality, and incredibly portable. I highly recommend it to any parent looking for a reliable and convenient playard and bassinet combo.

Another great Uppababy product
We have the whole uppababy ecosystem for our son. When looking at playpens/travel cribs, we were instantly drawn to the remi. It’s lightweight, I can set it up while holding a screaming baby, and it seems comfortable for him. We have travelled with it many times, and it fits comfortably in our car without being obstructively large. The only thing I would change about it is the zipper on the side is a bit noisy and stiff and has woken him a few times. However, I’m not sure if that is specific to this playard or if all are the same. Overall, I would purchase again.

Easy to set up & compact size
I chose this pack n play as my main "crib" for my 3rd baby. I have limited space in my apartment and used my old pack n play more than a crib with my 2nd child. The selling feature of the Uppa Baby Remi for me is the front unzipping and it being slightly off the ground, unlike similar playyards with the front zipper that are completely on the ground. Easy to set up (I recommend finding the assembly video on youtube). The pad included could be softer but I plan to buy my own playyard mattress later on. Assembling the newborn height insert was a little finicky but not a big deal like other reviews have suggested. Just gently wiggle until the zipper goes. The cons that I have are not important but I'll mention them:-The wrinkled border fabric at the top bothers me but I'm hoping it goes away with time.-There's no toy mobile attachment or diaper caddy attachment.-The Matt included is not very comfy for older babies/toddlers and I would recommend adding another pad.Otherwise I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great with changing pad!
Used this while traveling and was great for our sleeping baby! Thankful we invested in this with the nice travel bag and changing pad.

Central handle doesn’t lock in place
This style of pack and play pops open by pressing down on a handle in the center of the lower sleeping surface. It ~should~ snap or lock into place, BUT IT DOESN’T. Uppababy customer service claims that this is the way it’s supposed to be and that the weight of the mattress and your child will hold it down. However when using the bassinet mode, you are only using half of the mattress (i.e. half the weight of the mattress) and there’s nothing holding the sides of the pack and play in place because there’s no mattress in the bottom. Therefore, if you bump into the sides of the pack and play, the whole thing buckles…are you kidding me????? BIG NO from me. I shouldn’t have to have my newborn baby in the pack and play for it to not collapse if bumped into. Uppababy customer service thinks this is the way it’s supposed to function, when no other pack and play is designed this way. Clearly a huge design flaw or bad batch of central locks that they are trying to claim is on purpose. Go on Reddit, there are others who are experiencing this issue.
