I had bought martini glasses from Ikea, but they were positively enormous (both wide and tall) and felt unstable in your hand. These are well-balanced, stable, and beautiful. They aren't such space-hogs in the cupboard and even fit in my dishwasher!I thought the box they came in was perfectly adequate to store them--it's a very sturdy box. If you really want a china-storage-type box, they fit perfectly in the Household Essentials 542 balloon stemware box. Household Essentials 542 Glass-Stemware Storage Chest for Balloon-Style Stemware, TanLibbey makes terrific glassware. I've bought 3 different kinds of Libbey glasses now and I love them all.

These glasses are perfect for the holidays. Looking forward to serving pomegranate martinis to family and friends. In my box one was broken, but kept them, since I only need 10. Also, if you have a problem with them NOT all being the same size, there are about 50% that are a bit larger than the other half.

Great cocktail glasses by Libbey. Sturdy, perfect for 3oz martini. Arrived with 2 out of 12 broken. Boxed within a box, “FRAGILE” tape on inner box only ‘cause that makes so much sense right? Keeping the 10 survivors figuring 10 outta 12 the best odds I can hope for with that kind of ‘quality control’ besides who could handle more than 10 martinis at a time, you? I think not.

I've been looking for decently priced cocktail glasses that hold about 4 oz with a straight stem and a smooth shape, and this is just the deal! Although I agree with another reviewer about the packaging being inappropriate for delicate glass, I received them intact and enjoyed them the very next day. They are CLASSIC martini/cocktail glasses. They are thick enough to not have to worry about breaking them while washing and the stem is sturdy. They are good quality and perfect for entertaining guests, or for just having them handy--you never know, and the price is a bargain at just a little more than $1.50 each. I highly recommend this product.
