Works with my weather radio! I have an emergency weather radio that did not come with an adapter. This works perfectly to keep it charged so it can keep me warned. I believe it will also work to charge my cordless drill, so that's a bonus.

The rechargeable internal battery will always be dead when you pull out your emergency radio once a year. No one wants to sit there and crank it back to life. Mine took hours to charge it after being in storage for 2 years

beats buying batteries the little solar panel that's included doesn't accomplish an awful lot unless it's the middle of summer

Electric power adapter for emergency radio/safety functions
This is perfect and necessary to power the emergency kaito radio when electricity is available, I combined it with the extended antenna as accompanying the emergency radio gift.
