Where have these nbeen all of my 'pepper life'?
Just arrived. Couldn't wait for charcuterie tray. Had to try right away. Wow! What a wonderful pepper, notn too hot, well pickled in water, vinegar, citric and ascorbic acids, and salt. (Not too much salt.)Can hardly wait to try with olives and a drizzle of robust olive oil.Absolutely delicious. Will order more ASAP for Bloody Marys.

Very tasty, savory and piquant, great with meat. But a tiny jar and only 5 months shelf life.
First time ever experience with Guindira peppers brand here, so I was intrigued. I was actually expecting a large glass jar of peppers and was incredibly surprised when I received a tiny jar that's about your palm size. Some other reviewers pointed out that the jar was not sealed, or the lid was rusted, but in my case, I had no such issue. The jar was sealed tight, and the lid was intact. These Basque green peppers in brine are "authentic" and come straight from Spain. They are thin and long and easy to pick out of the jar with a fork. These are actually a tart-sweet variety of chili peppers, so I was expecting them to be hot and spicy, but they weren't. Seems like when pickled they become more smooth and pretty sour. You still can detect some spiciness in them, but it is very mild. After trying them with several meat dishes I must say that I love their taste! I'm glad I had the chance to try this authentic Spanish product, but for $14 (at the time of writing this review) I think it is too pricey for such a small jar of pickled peppers and I probably won't be ordering it again. Also, I want to note that the expiration date is the end of 2022 (now it is august 2022), which is about 5 months from now, which is fine. I was expecting a longer shelf life from canned and pickled products, though usually it's several years.*** TL;DR ***Yes, I do recommend this authentic Spanish product for the sake of trying. They are very tasty, smooth and sour, and a perfect addition to any meat meal. But they are a bit overpriced in my opinion for the size of the jar. Plus, with only 5 months shelf life, so I'm going with a 3-star rating.+++ Pros +++1) Palatable.2) Smooth texture.3) Sour and a little spicy.4) Great with meat.--- Cons ---1) Tiny jar.2) Overpriced.3) 5 months shelf life.

dominating vinegar that it is even corroding container steel lid
product review for Piparras Guindillas Basque Green Pepper in Brine - 13 OZ / 370 ML - Pickled Peppers Handmade Artisan ProductThe reason I got these is to enjoy slight heat from the pickled peppers, unfortunately the vinegar dominates flavor and hardly taste anything except for it. Peppers look great shape and none of them disintegrated, seemed to be good quality. The other problem is the choice of materials for the product, the lid is made with steel and the strong vinegar in the container corroding the lid, as seen in pictures. Imagine how corroding these pickling juice is to form rust within few months of packing it. Either the vinegar needs to be decreased or use Aluminum or stainless steel or paint/coat the lid well to protect the product. I would say it is not for you if you do not like too much vinegar or concerned having rusted food going inside you.

My Favorite Pepper
Just recently discovered these mildly spicy peppers from Spain. Though they are a bit pricey, I feel the enjoyment of their delightful flavor justifies the cost. I have gifted members of my family with a jar of the peppers as a special thank you. Highly recommended.

I love pickle cayenne peppers
We would drive around in different areas to find homemade pickled cayenne peppers, but they are not easy to find. Finding these online made the task allot easier.
