Mywiddoduckie,!
We have four indoor cats. Are so female cat loved this little ducky we found at PetSmart some years ago. It disappeared. Probably got vacuumed up without realizing it. We were so happy when we found these because these are her absolute favorite toy. I have to say Fara is a very creative little kitty but the way she tosses he's up in the air and runs around the house with him daily it's just amazing. And they last and last and last even though they get shredded they don't fall apart. Fara is so happy we found these on Amazon.

Favorite Cat Toy
These are my cat's favorite toy. She "hunts" these then carries them around in her mouth. She enjoys playing fetch, and will bring her duck toy over for us to throw over and over again. They are durable and well-made, even with daily, rough play there have been no rips nor tears in the material and the legs have not detatches. If your cat has a high "prey drive" and likes to pounce on, shake, and carry toys around in their mouth, these will not disappoint.

Cat's favorite toy, but string not durable
My cat loves this toy the most. I bought a bunch of them for my cat and he broke them all within a week by either snapping the string or ripping the little creature off the string. It's to be expected because HE LOVES THESE. I think it's because it's an empty stuffed animal skin it's softer and squishier. Though these wands are not durable, my cat still does play with the little animal. He likes the squirrel the most and use to carry it around the house. His second favorite is the duck one. While he does like the mouse one, it doesnt really appeal to him. I think my cat likes the dangly or fluffy bits on the squirrel and duck

Our kitten goes nuts over these
I think we have 6 of them now because our kitten thinks these are absolutely the best toy on the market. She will run around with them in her mouth and throw them for hours. We find them all over the house from the staircase to our chairs. How she hasn't lost a great deal of them, I'm not sure.I did want to mention that one of the other reviewers mentioned that the legs are string. They're not. They're rope and they don't have any loose strings as the "feet" are knots which have little excess. As a veterinary professional, I find these quite safe so long as the cat is not gnawing on them religiously (which cats are not apt to do anyhow). I'd be more concerned about puppies with these than cats/kittens.

Not "A" Favorite, THE Favorite
My last cat loved her duck. It lasted her lifetime and was in such good shape I gave it to the two kittens I adopted after she passed. It's their paws down favorite. It's the toy that gets left by the food bowl, the one they fight over who gets to carry, the one that gets shoved in my face at 6AM covered in cat spit as a gift/complimentary wake up call. I purchased a second one and am happy to see it's the same construction and materials. I can discern no difference and neither can they I also purchased a "forest friend" and "mouse" version; those get played with, but the duck is their preferred style.

Not worth the money!
These ducks had no catnip in them at all. I read someone else's review that said the one they received didn't have catnip in it. I thought that may have been a company over-site. So I went ahead and ordered one any way. When I saw mine had no catnip, I opened it and put catnip in it. My cats still will not even go near it. I know all cats are different and at times it can depend on the age of the cat. My one cat is seven and the other one isn't quite a year old. They are both quite playful. But they just don't care for this toy. For me it was a waste of money.

Poor excuse for a cat toy
I used to buy small, flat ducks & chicken toys for my cats and they loved them. They were pretty, small enough for cat, well-made and durable. The duck I received is ugly, too big and it doesn't even look like a duck. It is 6-1/2 " including the feet, not 3" as advertised. It is a poor excuse for a cat toy.
