They are very good, quite roomy compared to Dr M's and a fraction of the price.. The sole etc look very good, to comfortable under foot, the leather is quite stiff, polished before use ( I used a carnauba based polish, miss Kiwi which is petroleum I'm sure that would have been a game changer in making the leather softer) one gripe is the collar of the shoe it digs in a bit as very hard.. cannot complain for price I'm sure they will wear in and become very easy and great value.

Had these shoes for over a year now. 30 years ago I'd have just thought yeah they're shoes, nothing special they do the job. But in todays world it's rare to find a good ordinary shoe that is comfy and hard wearing and doesn't fall to bits after a year. All stuff you used to take for granted.I must be getting old cos I'm so impressed by the fact these shoes do exactly what you require of them and are still like new I'm writing a review a year later to praise them.One of the best things about this particular shoe is you can wear them for work or for formal occasions without them looking out of place.Well done Grafters. I'll defo buy your brand footwear again though it may be a while off haha.

Great fit comfortable and being genuine leather inside and out good breathable.Initially a bit squeaky whilst they wear in but again great once worn in.Air cushion soles as good as more recognised brand and at a third of the price, excellent value for money.

I was contemplating buying Dr Martens when I saw these. I was slightly wary with the massive price difference. However I have found them just as good. Good strong comfortable shoes. I could not justify the £100 price difference. How long they last we will see.

My partner finds the sides too high and hurt badly so does not wear them. Otherwise a lovely looking shoe and would have been perfect.

As others have said, these have thick strong leather uppers. Not a problem for me as I treated them to a good deep polish before use and keep them well polished to soften them. Comfortable and well made. The sole is grippy and helps with the bouncy feeling it gives. Will be buying more when these wear out.

Very well made shoes, polish up well, great value for money, very pleased with them.
