Changing my review from 1 to 5 star, i said they lied its cast iron not stainless steel because magnet sticks to it. Having done further research yes a triple ply stainless steel is magnetic. It is a great frying pan, brilliant once you season it, then nothing sticks to it.

An sich eine qualitativ sehr hochwertige und schöne Edelstahl-Pfanne, leider gibt es einen kleinen Nachteil. Der Stiel hat so viel Gewicht, dass die Pfanne dazu neigt, an dieser Seite mehr Druck auf der Platte zu haben. Ist die Pfanne vorab aber erst einmal gut aufgeheizt, liegt sie vollkommen eben auf und nichts haftet an. Selbst Spiegeleier mit wenig Öl gelingen. Immer vorab schauen, ob Wassertropfen tanzen, dann ist die Pfanne heiß genug, Temperatur herunterregeln, besonders bei Ei, etwas Öl verteilen und Eier in die Pfanne gleiten lassen. Ich finde den Preis etwas überhöht, jedoch ziehe ich Edelstahl jeder beschichteten Pfanne vor. In der Spülmaschine ist sie dann auch schnell wieder blitzblank.

The pan is pized fantastic, very easy to handle. Perfect for a quick omlette, or a sandwich. The riveted handle makes the cleaning process a bit more involved - but I hope it'll pay off in the long run due to it's possibly better durability. The handle will get hot with the pan being a long time on the stove, that's something to watch out for. But you won't notice it during regular use. The steel quality is okay, although it doesn't hold a candle to other higher end (actual) German steel pans (but ofcourse, they cost a lot more than this, so I'm not complaining). Would recommend. PS: If you see folk complaining about food "sticking" - they just don't know how to use a steel pan. Also - if you are new to a steel pan, be prepared for a learning curve. But it's so worth it - I will never use a non-stick pan again - a good sear is something you will never get from a non-stick pan.
