Feels good, easy to change, nice solid case.
I'm a forklift mechanic. I needed something for a Euro connector. I bought the smaller 10T version with the Max crimper of 2/0 awg. I wish it came with a 3/0, but for the price VS what you get. It seems to work GREAT. Can't complain. Obviously the 2/0 awg would be just a little small for the 3/0 awg. It will crimp it, but because of the die being smaller it flattens out the sides with a large pinch. Tried it on a couple items when I got it and it performed well. I can't complain. So I just purchased the 16T version to get the proper sizes. I was trying to avoid the larger one cause it looks bulky and might get in the way of crimping Euro connectors. We will see. I would still recommend these if your looking for a hydraulic crimper(s).I have the larger 16T version now. It works GREAT on larger items. I'm glad I bought both versions.

Worked perfectly!
I crimped some 1/0 AWG wire for the first time. This crimper worked with minimal effort. It resulted in a hexagon shape crimp on the lug. Using heat shrink after crimping left a professional look. I would definitely buy this again. I came with lots of dies.

Seems to work very well
I have only used it once so far. I crimped some connectors on a couple different ground wires for a friend. We used two different dies and all appeared to go well. He was very happy with the outcome.

Worth it
The dies are a little lose fitting, but they kind of have to be so they don't hang up when compressing. I added about 6 layers of blue masking tape to one side of the dies and trimmed off the excess to make it fit the channel more snuggly, but still freely. This kept the dies straighter during compression because I can be particular about appearances. Otherwise it performed perfectly. It does take practice getting into good habits to line it up, but its easy after that. It's a little heavy when you're working up in the air, but it has to be so why complain. Tip: on your first crimp, lightly pinch your fitting in place between the dies, just enough to hold it and not crush it. Then put your wire in and pump until the resistance is firm. If you have to crank down on it, that's too much. It's hydraulic like a jack, go easy and don't crush your wiring to the point of cracking or fatigue and you'll be golden. The end release could be better, but for the price it's a great tool. Glad I bought it.

works well.
Just used it today and I am very pleased with this crimper. I am redoing the wiring terminals in a 1990 rv and this is the ticket for doing the job right.

Does not crimping right
I returned the Item did not crimping the connections tight for the sizes identified. Had to step down 2 sizes and then it distorted the ferrel.
