Starbucks Capsules Compatible with Nespresso Original - 40 Count (Kenya)

These work just fine in my Nespresso machine. I don't understand the other comment that they don't. They are the same shape as the Nespresso capsules, make sure you have the original line machine; NOT VertuoLine.I bought the Nespresso Roma, the Starbucks Espresso, and the Hardy Caffé, Italian Espresso to compare. I thought the Starbucks was the best, Roma second, and Hardy I did not care for. The Starbucks are more expensive at 87c per capsule (Nespresso 71c, Hardy approx 58c per capsule)

I like the taste of this Espresso blend of Starbucks capsules. Only problem is they are flat on the bottom, not rounded like Nespresso's own line of capsules (see pictures). Because the bottom of the Starbucks capsule is flat it has to be guided into my Nespresso machine by pushing down on the back of the capsule while closing the lid. This is not a deal breaker for me and I assume Starbucks did it to avoid patent problems. Ordering more to keep in my regular Nespresso capsule rotation.

We first bought the Starbucks nespresso sampler pack with 4 different flavors & this was the definite stand-out for us. The other flavors we did not care for at all. My current favorite latte is with one of these and one roma capsule - yummmm! This combo has a really nice flavor, is on the stronger end yet smooth and creamy and doesn't have a bitter bite at all. My only wish is that these came in a cardboard tube like the other nespresso capsules so that it would fit into my holder. Ahh well.

These pods do not fit exactly in your Nespresso original line.They will work, but they don't engage as well, not exactly. Starbucks needs to work on this design flaw. That said, do try out the peets brand. They now sell them in target stores. They work perfectly, and taste better than any pod for Nespresso I have tasted. I am not a fanOf Nespresso coffee, only the espresso makers themselves. I used the Peets Crema Acura and thought I was drinking Starbucks Espresso!

I bought these in hopes that I can get a Make at home Starbucks, but was gravely disappointed. My machine leaked out a bunch of water when i used these and they kept getting jammed. It's misleading and fraudulent to say these work in the Nespresso machines since they do not. A design improvement would need to be made. Plus, I was worried I would break my machine. Not worth it.

I just received these and immediately put them to good use. I’m normally not a huge fan of Starbucks coffee and I feel that it normally has a burnt flavor but these were spot on. It definitely had the rich and caramel flavor as described on the package.

I have been looking forward to Starbucks Nespresso capsules for a long time. They simply don’t work in my Citiz. Each time I insert a capsule, it feels as if I am going to break the lever. About 1/3 of the time I get straight water or a very watered down shot. I do like the espresso when it works and hope that Starbucks redesigns the capsule. In the mean time, I just threw 3 boxes (30 capsules) away.

Half the water that is supposed to go through the pod ends up in the catch tray instead of in your cup! I have to use two to get the volume of other pods. Very disappointed! Cup of coffee now costs twice as much! Also, heads up mine shipped from PORTUGAL! It would be nice to know I was ordering something from a different country. I was just really shocked when they shipped and I of course couldn't reach it because it was coming from Portugal... Not worth the price. Just buy Nespresso brand pods. Cheaper in the long run since it takes two of these.
